@azn1stknightsoul1 Yes he does. He uses an older weave pattern, makes the jeans domestically, and you can tell by looking at the three suggestions near the end that the dye is better.
It is really a shame that most guys cannot go shopping for clothes without tagging along their mommies or girlfriends. your videos are very needed for many guys that due to lack of education never really know how to shop for quality clothes.
No mention of right-handed vs left-handed twill. The weave is an important factor in the quality with left-handed being superior. So much to understand about the fabric and the way the pattern is laid out in order to save on material...which means an inferior product. Ever wonder why so many jean legs have seams that twist. There is so much to know about the cut of the pattern + the specific fabric + the layout of pattern on fabric. That's why a great pair of jeans is going to cost you, although I think many are overpriced.
LHT is not “superior” it’s softer and more of the white weft is exposed which gives it a different feel and look there is also slubby. And no mention of selvedge id or hidden rivets or continuous flies I think too much to cover in a 10 minute video ….
Your clothes should never "stink" before you wash them. Well, unless you work some blue collar job or live in a third world country with no access to running water. Smelly man-jeans are a huge turn off guys. I mean think about it... what part of your body must be causing that smell.... yeah, gross! So be on the safe side boys and wash them when you think they are only half ripe which is probably full ripe to any woman.
If you wash raw denim too early, the indigo bleeds and makes them look strange. So how about you don't have sex with me, and I'll keep wearing my nice jeans.
Great episode, and love the shout-out to Ask MetaFilter!
No date needed on this video because mentioning APC you know it was 2010 😂

Like Capt. EO, you're going to change the world!
I am all about this! Yeeeeees!

I am a woman and don't know how to shop for quality clothes. Nor do I care to shop at all.

Hey, anyone know the sofa manufacturer in the last part of this segment, when Jesse sums up denim jean costs. IT IS AN AWESOME SOFA.
Construction and fabric quality
So, he never answered whats different from his jeans and the $20 jeans at Walmart...
Yes he did shuttle loom selvedge denim and hand cut hand sewn construction
i wash my jeans only when necessary... it could take weeks or months.
How long does it take to get 501 shrink to fits damp enough to wear but not too wet to wear.
Love your videos, but please use some Tilex on your tub and grout. Seriously. It will clean all that up.
Any idea's about a DIY raw denim wash that's none toxic?
how i wear my denim jacket..??
i like how prince william dresses. you sound like you come from a good upbringing too.
i did not even know 500$ jeans existed
Wrong. I can easily pull off jeans with with a sports jacket and tie.
