Maximizing where you can go? Making it more of a true open world game. Big improvements in multiplayer. Fine I'll give you half a point. Its the same level of improvement from Ac1 to Ac2, depending on whether or not you want to call that innovation or improvement. Innovation in gaming? no. Innovation is the AC series? I believe so.

AC Rogue in a nutshell: Haytham is awesome and young. Achilles is awesome and young(er). Shay is an Assassin and a Templer. Awesome. Shay will die because of reasons I've written in a few replies here. Achilles maybe kills Shay? It seems Shay kills even Adewale. Nice continuity there with AC IV, if it's true.
Are you sure about that? Most people I've talked to would prefer this over Unity as they either don't have an Xbox One or they prefer to play as a Templar.

Is this assasins creed going to affect the ac storyline?
Yes this game starts the events in Unity
This game is a direct prequel to Assassin's Creed III so yeah, it effects the overall story arc of AC III. But I think that's it.
