Old stones have been unearthed in Wisconsin that in my opioion prove Vikings came to America before Columbus. The stones had old norse writing carved into them.
It's not your opinion, it's a fact
Bull shit
My favorite part of vikings has to be the Siege of Paris it was just the best moment of the whole show
Facts!
The last scene of the show really is the ending I was hoping for
Great series just started watching - coming off my last kingdom high. Always watch Vikings Valhalla- OMG fantastic. Bring season 2
Why didn’t they teach this guy how to pronounce place names
Voice over work is just not for him.
Americans always do that 😪
Thank you so much for this, the years included
Great series; truly great.
Ragnar lothbrok 🔥🥰
6:58 first time I’ve seen somebody die while smiling in a movie
Not a movie
I'll watch this again before the spin off show. Thx
Yeah thats my biggest problem with the ending of the vikings show, How did ubba and floki watch the SUNSET on the EAST coast of america when the sun sets in the west, r u trying to tell me the earth was spinning in reverse when that scene happens?
you have now ruined the until then perfect ending for me :( xD
Maybe it was on the westside of an island?😅
16:23 the sun sets in the west...Ubbe must had landed somewhere in the east of North America ... so it was probably a sunrise not a sunset.
Vikings was a better TV Show than Game of Throne ever was.
Change my mind.
Reaching the Height of Viking Power under Cnut the Great would a great thing to watch.
I hate how that skipped thay
@@Damarcus123 They didn’t skip it. Cnut’s reign is coming in the spin-off Vikings: Valhalla. Remember Vikings is set in 800s and Vikings: Valhalla will be in the 1000s which is where Cnut’s reign took place.
Absolutely loved this video
What a great journey It's too bad the session had to end.
My rankings:
🥇 Season 4
🥈Season 3
🥉Season 2
4. Season 5A
5. Season 1
6. Season 6B
7.Season 5B
8.Season 6A
Greatest tv show ever
That would have been a sunrise because they landed on the east coast.
I was really bummed out when Vikings ended❤❤❤❤
I stopped watching after Ragnar died.. just couldn't stay into it. Guess I'll try again.
Same, I skipped a lot of stuff until the finale. Dragged
Best show ever
Based on what was seen in the show i dont think magnus was his son
I didn't think so either.
I have watched it twice already and possibly many more times in the future
that’s an overstatement (your opening sentence)
14:23 Alfred is the son of Judith, Ecbert''s daughter-in-law, not his daughter
If they landed on the east coast of the americas.. shouldn't ubba and Floki staring at the sunrise.. how can it be sunset?
Man all there deaths had me in tears
Huge fan
Remember watching this during quarantine ( had to refresh my memory before starting the valhala sequel 😅 )
one of greatest moving of all time
Sorry, but I thought that Ivar’s death was a complete cop out. He literally stopped fighting, and invited a random young Saxon man to kill him, because Ivar had finally given up on his life, and he essentially committed suicide. He did not meet the requirements for Valhalla, in my opinion.
Well in reality he ended up in Dublin so...
I stopped watching during season 2 and never got back into it si thanks for this
If I had a heart it'd still be breaking because this show is over!! Ok, it's still a little sad.
Loved the show but after season three it was dragging , they threw to many episodes in the first 3 seasons.
great review
the line of a legend
Great recap. Just an FYI, Newfoundland is pronounced ''Newfunland''
My second fav tv series of all time after GOT !!! 👍👍👍
This is only the story line of vikings. This is not how it happened in history. Paris was attackt in 845, so it is impossible that Ragnar was the one who attacked the monestry
such a pity that you didn't touch on the many many many historical inaccuracies when explaining this timeline
The show is historical fiction This isn’t a documentary….
3:46 Dude literally hid his cross and held it when he was about to die.
It's pronounced "Noofnland" in Canada. We don't say Newfoundland. The more you know.
the amount of mispronunciation of character names is amazing
I hope they make references to the old series.
Good recap, narration was underwhelming though.
This show made me question my religion. I swear I had dreamt of the Norse Gods for several
nights! lol
Ragnor is not magnus father. Ragnor even says he now knows what a Marcel is as all she did was piss on him.
I stopped watching when Ragnar died for realsies... he was basically the only reason I watched it, lol.
Me too! But after this video I think I will finish it.
And Ecbert......After both of them died nothing makes sense anymore.
@@alexreid2365 Yeah... killing off MAIN Characters was the worst Decisions the shows Producers ever made... they tried to be Game of Thrones, lol.
@@kriz2432I swear the entire Season 6 you can see they're trying to be like Game of Thrones.
I really thought Ragnar would come back as a near god based on his fame
A fun fact about the Rus is that their actual ancestors homeland was Sweden and not Norway. This is because the Swedish vikings travelled East while the Danish and Norwegien went West
Its funny how Fitzerg was the unstable one of his sons, considering well Ivar lol but its true. Ivar developed so well and by the end I actually felt bad for him when he died
Difference between sly and genius when he popped out that coffin!
I genuinely believe I will never watch a show better then this and medieval type of shows ain't event my type I'm more of a super hero type of show person
Yes!!!
Tbh i loved every second of it but I didn't want ivar or Ragnar to die
they really gave ivar the broke legs on his death lol
guys im so confuuused at the last episode there is no ivar's death o r anything after the battle with the rus.
all i saw is bjorn's death by ivar not even with arrows.
pleaaase tell me where can i watch this episode im so confused and annoyed.. Also i know there is another type season "Valhalla" but Netflix didn't even anounce the date of release
Amazon prime
Amused when the term 'viking' is applied to a people group, but it's actually a word meant for pirating or pillaging, to 'go a viking'. The people groups referred to as 'Vikings' were actually seafaring people originally from Scandinavia, called Norsemen or Northmen, predominately from Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
I can’t believe I missed the last season anyone know where I can find it??
Amazon Prime
Depends on what country you live in
I watched all six seasons on Hulu in the USA (Feb 2022).
Without comics in this awesome show online I know I am Danish Scandinavian a tad and therefore love this show and it’s lore on the early ventures of seafarers 🎉
I stopped watching it after they avenged Ragnar and Ivar killed his brother and idk why I never got back into but I’m not sure how I feel about the whole civil war between the brothers but I feel like I have to watch the rest of it now. Also Katheryn Winnick is fing HOT
Ivar, did not Kill his Brother Sigurd.
Was it really about christians being in Iceland first? I don't think so I think that the cross was just shaped like that naturaly that would be more Mysteries
Ivar stabbing bjorn was lame
Ah yes Ragnar the best there ever was
