KNITTED PLANTER by Extruded on Thingiverse: www.thingiverse.com/thing:335...
As someone who recently got into 3D printing, I’m so glad I stumbled upon your RUclips!! So informative, I think I’ve binged watched every video you have lol😂
I love this setting! It especially makes projects stand out...like the posable snowmen from @3DPrinty! Would love to see more experimental topics and projects from you. Keep up the great work!
Started using fuzzy skin in 2017. It's on by default for my character prints. You can set it very shallow so that it just gives a slightly textured look. It hides layer lines, it hides z-seam, it hides support marks AND it helps a ton with overhangs! And it can also give shiny/cheap looking filament a nice mat sheen.
I've found fuzzy skin to be a great addition many times. One thing I would love is to have "paint on" fuzzy skin so I can choose the specific locations where it is used.
you can add modifiers and put what ever part of the object u want to have or not have fuzzy skin
I like this feature as you can use it to fit surface texture to that of textured bed plates with very small parameters. What I now still miss though is the option for a fuzzy top layer ti match the top...
definitely will try this on my next print.
Awesome it’s a great setting to have in your arsenal when it comes to Cura.
Thank you for the Fuzzy tip. I am designing a 'dragon vase' for my wife. Using fuzzy seems like it might make a cool look. Thank you again.
Sweet! Yeah I’ve been surprised on models I’ve used it on to give unique looks. Best of luck on the print!
Yeah, fuzzy skin is awesome... been using it during the previous 2 versions of Cura as well. 😎👍
Yeah it’s a fun add for sure.
I mean I was searching for like this in mind or I was interesting in it, but never had the plan to search for it online, dunno!
But, hopefully & finally I came across this video which is great to know it, however, I hope you could play around more with its settings and adjustment!
Thnx for the smooth process of making the fuzzy skin!
It would be nice if cura came out with a setting where you can make your own cuts as well as specific settings for different pieces.
I would agree. That’s the one thing I thing all the other slicers have over Cura.
Can you do a tutorial on how to make the knitted texture?
I have a problem with cura 5.5, the preview only shows me the top layer, it doesn't matter if I move the bar on the right, it only shows the highest of the selected layers, any ideas to help me :(?
How was the knit detail made?
Hey! CAN we do same with bender/bambu studio? Can you do a video on it please?
Is there a setting like that for bambu
Fantastic busts in the background
Oh thanks which one? 😅 No matter which one I love them all obviously it’s displayed 🤣
@@ItsMeaDMaDe all of them!
@MsJellyfan 🤣
Only on Cura or Fuzzy skin can be found on other slicer?
Oh no it’s in prusa slicer and Bambu studio. Just gotta search for it.
How did you get the crochet texture on the model?
It’s the actual model. I just download it from Thingiverse
