I once had 6 RF-2200, but have restored and sold 5 on eBay. Kept the best one for me. The ability to Calibrate the dial readout is Just Darn COOL!!!! The fast slow tuning works great... The RF-2200 is an absolutely great radio... A bit tricky to restore but when that is done they work GREAT!!! In most cases their are only 3 critical caps that need to be replaced, just need to know what to focus in on.. The volume and tone controls and most all the switches become very dirty and intermittent over time. But after restoration the work and sound and function like new. The RF-2200 is classified in my opinion a Very FUN Radio to operate!! Sort of like the new DSP2 receiver. Lots of neat features to play with. Robert

Greetings: 1) When did they start putting letters in frequencies? 2) I loke the Icom better. No PS noise.Aside that it sounds in fair good condition. 3) Do not expect that old rockbound's BFO and VFO 2 B solid on at it's age. Besides, it isnot about frequency
It is about S/N. 4) If U want the "10" on the tight then flip then invert the meter.

@@roberthoneycutt1639 his name is Vlado. There were articles about him on SWLing.com. It has been so long I don’t have his contact info anymore. You could probably just google “vlado panasonic rf2200”
