This used to happen on my ps5 when I tried to play games like call of duty, but strangely (and thankfully) disappeared.
You need to put 120fps mode on and it will only drop to about 80fps even if you have a 60hz Monitor

Your TV / monitors'refresh rate could be lower than the fps you want. Therefore, this is why your fps is dropping .
Just enable 120fps on the Xbox settings and if you can't you need a better monitor/tv
