I know you really believe you are Jimin’s #1 Fan. And I get it … But there are no words or enough words in any language that expresses the pure love and adoration I have for this man. He truly triggers ALL aspects of being a woman within me…friend, aunt, mother, sister, lover, and human being. I have lived 58 years and I am not sure how but he has imprinted on my heart. I am glad that he has your love and Army’s love along with mine. He deserves all great things life has to offer. I pray that God continues to Bless Jimin and keep him safe. I couldn't agree more. I'm 53 years, and to say he has forever impacted me would be an understatement. He inspires me, consoles me, makes me incredibly happy, there just is no limit. My daughter showed me BTS in 2017 and in early 2018 I was going through a divorce after 20 years of marriage. The comfort they provided through their music and the impact they made is what got me through some very difficult times. If you'd have asked me if a "Kpop boy band" would do those things and eventually become such a big part of my everyday life, I'd have thought you were an alien and asked you what Kpop even was. Jimin immediately caught my eye as a performer but as I watched content like Run, Bon Voyage, etc. and got to see him outside of the stage and saw the kind of person he is, I was forever hooked. When I see him receive so much hate, most of it from 2 solo stan groups and their shippers, in his OWN fandom, it make ma sick and angry. He is always thinking of us, wanting to give back, wanting to make sure we are happy, I have never doubted him or BTS in their sincerity when they say they care about their fans. They continue to be there, even when it isn't easy to be. I'm so proud of Jimin and all that he has achieved despite what he's gone through. That's the biggest takeaway that has really helped me personally. I wish I could thank him personally so that he knows how he has helped a 53 year old woman in Oregon get through some very dark times and come out on the other side. Thanks for sharing!

I will say this: Two truths can exist at the same time without contradicting each other. That a portion of this song is for those fans who have stood by his side all these years; that the intimacy of the heart piece center of this song where JK sings with him is on a more one-to-one personal vein. Jimin is a master of layered meanings. JK said in his live where he hyped Jimin for more than an hour, basically, "you've always known that I AM your fan". Add to that that the K-armies were in gcs and twitter spaces talking for HOURS about this should tell you something. It's a pity that we can't stream this gorgeous song officially, because it's genuinely one of Jimin's best. Even the Grammy Recording Academy mentioned it in their review of his album. (It's sad to see ppl in these comments putting Jimin down, saying that he needed "help", or isn't liked by JK. The level of toxicity and immaturity in the negative comments speaks very loudly.)

❣️This hidden track, that can only be found on Jimin’s “FACE” physical album cd, Jimin’s song, “The Letter”, is such an amazing, ever so beautiful, so heartfelt song dedicated to Army, who he says really helped him, especially during the pandemic, as he mentioned, when he felt in despair, emotional, distraught, reflecting on himself, going through a depression, but throughout he really felt the love support, faith & belief in him, that army gave him, which now that he’s found himself and is uplifted, wants to do the same for army. So beautiful how BTS hidden tracks, like “Sea” and now Jimin’s “The Letter”, are mainly written just for army. Jimin not only is the one playing guitar, but JK in the last couple of verses can be hear harmonizing with Jimin in the background. Also on the Cd, it amazingly starts at exactly 6:13 minutes which is when BTS debuted, (June 13 2013). It’s like a more personal private message by way of song, meant mainly for army. I mean only army would get the word out about this so heartwarming, so beautiful song. Though anyone who actually listens to the physical Ep will get the wondrous, ever delightful surprise when discovering this song as well. Also more and more are talking about it so ppl other then army are now hearing about this hidden gem as well! Side Note: The harmonica was more then likely, inspired to use because Jimin’s character he created, Chimmy, plays the harmonica. BTS designed in 2018, their own line of characters they themselves designed & created, they called BT21.
This incredibly beautiful song is probably partly for ARMY, but several things lead me to believe it is mainly a love song for Jungkook, who did the backup vocals. First, if you look at Jimin's handwritten first-draft lyrics found in the CD package, at one point he wrote the word "dangshin," a Korean word often used between spouses/romantic partners. Second, some of the phrasing in the song is just too personal to be directed at fans. Third, after Jimin said somewhere that the song was a fan song, in one of Jimin's Lives on Weverse, JK wrote in the comments "I'm your fan," and he timestamped his comment at exactly 6:13, the exact time the song starts on the album. And for those of you who are sure that it is just a song for ARMY because Jimin said that, do you honestly think that Jimin would feel free to openly say "it's a love song for Jungkook" while living in Korea? I wish we lived in a world where he would feel comfortable and safe saying that in public, but sadly, we do not.

Believe what you will, but I prefer to listen to jimin directly. He said it's a fan song, so it's a fan song to me. BTS have used this same term "fan song" with regards to 2,3! Magic Shop ... even Sea, another hidden track, was described as a fan song. Also, this isn't the first time we've heard background vocals from another member in a Jimin track. You can hear jhope harmonizing on filter, but filter is still undeniably Jimin's song. That's why Letter is always going to be a jimin song for me, not a jikook song. But enjoy music how you will -- once the artist lets go of their song, it falls into the hands of the audience, I guess

But my beliefs about whom the song is primarily for aren't dependent on Jimin's choice of the word in his first draft of his lyrics. And just to be clear, I never said anything about JK's singing of the background vocals meaning anything. However, JK's timestamping of his "I'm your fan" comment at exactly 6:13 and his giving a spoiler for the LETTER song by playing part of it on a guitar in his Live on Weverse does seem suggestive. And honestly, watching that whole Live on Weverse when JK just sat and watched videos about Jimin for about an hour straight and just kept smiling (pretty much ignoring his audience for almost the entire time), left me with the feeling that JK clearly loves Jimin and also loves that song. I think you and I will just have to agree to disagree on the reason for the song and on the nature of Jimin and Jungkook's relationship. At least we both agree that it is an amazingly beautiful song!

I have seen Jungkook say I love you Army while looking straight at Jimin and I've seen Jimin do exactly the same. I'm not saying they don't truly love and appreciate Army but they seem to use it as a double meaning almost. The fact that Jungkook sings in the background on this particular track when Jimin could have done his own backing vocals like he did on his other songs, also serves as a proof for me. All this to say, I think you are absolutely right in your statements above and don't be discouraged if not everyone agrees. Some people can't see the forest for the trees.

Jimin really is the sweetest little bean, a fierce, power house multitalented one. Letter is so beautiful, and he composed and produced the entire song. I’m just so proud of him. The fact that it’s a hidden track within his album is so telling. He said letter is a song he wrote for the fans, to tell them (us) about his feelings. Is it for JK? Well, he did ask him to do backvocals to the song, and Jungkook did say he is indeed Jimin’s fan a couple of days ago, after giving us a little sneak peak to the song when he played a little bit of it for us in his most recent live. I will say this: Two truths can exist at the same time without contradicting each other. That a portion of this song is for those fans who have stood by his side all these years; that the intimacy of the heart piece center of this song where JK sings with him is on a more one-to-one personal vein. Jimin is a master of layered meanings. JK said in his live where he hyped Jimin for more than an hour, basically, "you've always known that I AM your fan". Add to that that the K-armies were in gcs and twitter spaces talking for HOURS about this should tell you something. It's a pity that we can't stream this gorgeous song officially, because it's genuinely one of Jimin's best. Even the Grammy Recording Academy mentioned it in their review of his album. (It's sad to see ppl in these comments putting Jimin down, saying that he needed "help", or isn't liked by JK. The level of toxicity and immaturity in the negative comments speaks very loudly.)

❣️This hidden track, that can only be found on Jimin’s “FACE” physical album cd, Jimin’s song, “The Letter”, is such an amazing, ever so beautiful, so heartfelt song dedicated to Army, who he says really helped him, especially during the pandemic, as he mentioned, when he felt in despair, emotional, distraught, reflecting on himself, going through a depression, but throughout he really felt the love support, faith & belief in him, that army gave him, which now that he’s found himself and is uplifted, wants to do the same for army. So beautiful how BTS hidden tracks, like “Sea” and now Jimin’s “The Letter”, are mainly written just for army. Jimin not only is the one playing guitar, but JK in the last couple of verses can be hear harmonizing with Jimin in the background. Also on the Cd, it amazingly starts at exactly 6:13 minutes which is when BTS debuted, (June 13 2013). It’s like a more personal private message by way of song, meant mainly for army. I mean only army would get the word out about this so heartwarming, so beautiful song. Though anyone who actually listens to the physical Ep will get the wondrous, ever delightful surprise when discovering this song as well. Also more and more are talking about it so ppl other then army are now hearing about this hidden gem as well!
Side Note: The harmonica was more then likely, inspired to use because Jimin’s character he created, Chimmy, plays the harmonica. BTS designed in 2018, their own line of characters they themselves designed & created, they called BT21.

This incredibly beautiful song is probably partly for ARMY, but several things lead me to believe it is mainly a love song for Jungkook, who did the backup vocals. First, if you look at Jimin's handwritten first-draft lyrics found in the CD package, at one point he wrote the word "dangshin," a Korean word often used between spouses/romantic partners. Second, some of the phrasing in the song is just too personal to be directed at fans. Third, after Jimin said somewhere that the song was a fan song, in one of Jimin's Lives on Weverse, JK wrote in the comments "I'm your fan," and he timestamped his comment at exactly 6:13, the exact time the song starts on the album. And for those of you who are sure that it is just a song for ARMY because Jimin said that, do you honestly think that Jimin would feel free to openly say "it's a love song for Jungkook" while living in Korea? I wish we lived in a world where he would feel comfortable and safe saying that in public, but sadly, we do not.

Believe what you will, but I prefer to listen to jimin directly. He said it's a fan song, so it's a fan song to me. BTS have used this same term "fan song" with regards to 2,3! Magic Shop ... even Sea, another hidden track, was described as a fan song. Also, this isn't the first time we've heard background vocals from another member in a Jimin track. You can hear jhope harmonizing on filter, but filter is still undeniably Jimin's song. That's why Letter is always going to be a jimin song for me, not a jikook song. But enjoy music how you will -- once the artist lets go of their song, it falls into the hands of the audience, I guess

But my beliefs about whom the song is primarily for aren't dependent on Jimin's choice of the word in his first draft of his lyrics. And just to be clear, I never said anything about JK's singing of the background vocals meaning anything. However, JK's timestamping of his "I'm your fan" comment at exactly 6:13 and his giving a spoiler for the LETTER song by playing part of it on a guitar in his Live on Weverse does seem suggestive. And honestly, watching that whole Live on Weverse when JK just sat and watched videos about Jimin for about an hour straight and just kept smiling (pretty much ignoring his audience for almost the entire time), left me with the feeling that JK clearly loves Jimin and also loves that song. I think you and I will just have to agree to disagree on the reason for the song and on the nature of Jimin and Jungkook's relationship. At least we both agree that it is an amazingly beautiful song!

I have seen Jungkook say I love you Army while looking straight at Jimin and I've seen Jimin do exactly the same. I'm not saying they don't truly love and appreciate Army but they seem to use it as a double meaning almost. The fact that Jungkook sings in the background on this particular track when Jimin could have done his own backing vocals like he did on his other songs, also serves as a proof for me. All this to say, I think you are absolutely right in your statements above and don't be discouraged if not everyone agrees. Some people can't see the forest for the trees.

Jimin really is the sweetest little bean, a fierce, power house multitalented one. Letter is so beautiful, and he composed and produced the entire song. I’m just so proud of him. The fact that it’s a hidden track within his album is so telling. He said letter is a song he wrote for the fans, to tell them (us) about his feelings. Is it for JK? Well, he did ask him to do backvocals to the song, and Jungkook did say he is indeed Jimin’s fan a couple of days ago, after giving us a little sneak peak to the song when he played a little bit of it for us in his most recent live.
