New subscriber. Just ordered mine…should be at my door on the Thursday. Mine I believe is going to be blue. Is there a difference blue or orange? I didn’t see a color option when I ordered.
Sorry for the late reply. iv been healing up from a surgery. There is no difference except the color! They are solid saws you will really like it! 👍 I'm a Neo-tec dealer now. @@majorpixchannel7146 I’m going to be doing some beating on her… responsible beating…I believe in taking care of my tools…but I’m gonna test her out!! I’m waiting on a neo-Tec 28” bar and chain. If the saw performs well…I may swap out some parts for OEM Stihl parts, like the recoil rewind…pretty consistent is the reports of failures of these. I don’t believe a guy has to be swinging a Stihl or Husqvarna to have a quality powersaw in their hands…so I’ll be playing with this saw fairly! Hi, have you shared any thoughts on the difference between the G660 and newer G660 Pro? Think it's worth the money to buy the pro and get the NGK spark plug, upgraged piston, and perhaps more quality control?
So, in my opinion, the only difference is the plastics! Iv had both units torn down, and iv found both to be of equal quality! The nkg plug can be installed after purchase for under $10. The quality of farmertec cylinders have gotten a lot better and are in some cases actually better performance then oem believe it or not. Is it the same quality? No but the port timing on several are getting pretty aggressive out of the box.
Hi . So far I have used 2 tanks of gasoline with the machine, what is the speed of your machine? Did you perform a carburetor fine-tuning when you ran your machine? After how many tanks of gasoline do you adjust the carburetor?
So I normally run my saws rich 1 3/4 turns out tell break in. (About 3-4 tanks) Then I tune it to spec! You.can run 14,200 ... but I like to run 13,400 in a good work saw! Thanks for watching 👀 sir

@@easingrapod1274 we have had a drought as well... all summer and now the winter! I have roads that we have to run a water truck on to keep them from. Turning to sand! We need rain 🌧

@EASING RAPOD those are nice saws brother! I love my 55 Husqvarna 😁 Thanks for being careful about. Be easy with the chain tensioner! I, always pull out on the bar as I put tension on it to help! (But I do this with oem saws) clean the filter after every use! Besides that, you are good to go!
1 full turn out seems to work perfect to start tuning at! Cut your way into a log about 3 or 4 inchs. This is a excellent place to tune your saw! Very safe! I have a video on tuning a chainsaw! What is lean and rich. How to tune a chainsaw. Look it up sir
I totally understand... I have purchased 50-60 or more clones! And only had a out of the box problem wonce! Now, it I was not able to turn wrenches on them... I might feel different! I have had many stihls apart and holzfformas... the quality is close! The money 💰 is far apart!
@@nicholasblohowiak29 hey, sorry about the late reply... yes sir it is! All parts! That's the upside of the clones! You can always replace parts with oem! On my machines I still use the holzfforma parts because of the cost and my ability to repair. And I like working on them! I mill with my machines... with a norwood pm 14 sawmill! Nothing puts a saw to the test like chainsawmilling! Sorry about your experience with yours... if you have problems in the future let me know and IL make a video on the issue your having for you can do the repairs yourself! Even if it requires me coaching over a phone IL help you! My only interest is to help! I'm always here to help with repair coaching, questions or what ever!

What fuel mixture ate you running? i just bought a g660 but already have an actual ms660 and i run 50:1
So I run 40:1 in my clones..and 32:1 for the first tank. But, 50:1 would work just fine. I just like that extra bit of oil to lube while milling.
What’s your gas mix ratio for break in and then regular term use 25:1 32:1 40:1 50:1?
40:1 for normal broke in saws. And around 35 or 32:1 for break in

Wish I could say the same about my g660. Used it two hours. Now it’s in the shop. Isn’t getting enough gas and has an air leak.
