Growing up I was told that liking anime or games made me “not black” and I think dreamcon is just such a good example of how black people are not a monolith and we can enjoy things that are outside of our culture and stereotypes. It was my first year at dreamcon and I can honestly say that the experience was so fulfilling and all around fun that I would wanna come back over and experience the community and love that y’all provided. So thank yall for that❤

You can’t tell me Mark & RDC not goats bruh they made the perfect convention for all creatives(especially black creatives) and content creators to network, promote themselves, and have a good time. On top of that Mark was able to fulfill his original dream of making a manga/anime with “Dark Lights”, they’re working on a film with Jordan Peele, and even making their own production company. Y’all are too inspirational and deserve all the blessings & success you’re getting and much more hope y’all continue to inspire, create, and reach the very top🙏🏾🐐’s.
Never been to a con before, never cosplayed, never really traveled anywhere. I went to Dreamcon alone and came back with new friends, new purpose, and memories I'll never forget. Talking to people about their favorite things and watching them slowly realize they dont have to over explain their fandom. Getting asked for a pic of my cosplay. Thank you RDCWORLD for making a place where we can all feel like kids geeking out over the latest episode of DBZ.

Hands down one of the greatest black movements. Just being around people with color is so much fun. I’ve been going for the past 4 years and it only gets bigger. Watching them on my computer to seeing them in real life is unreal. I know they are normal people but they are people with ambition and dreams and by far the only thing i look toward to every year. DreamCon is something I didn't think would work ngl but my god it's absolutely insane where y'all have taken it. Watching RDC grow from skits to giant conventions has been been so surreal.

Man for the last few years I’ve had no luck I bought tickets to every dream on for the last three years I got surprise with tickets for 2021 and 2022 couldn’t go because I was sick and this year I bought tickets but couldn’t get off my job. I have been watching you guys since I was 14 I am 23 and I basically grew up with you guys, it would be an honor to support anything you guys do. I’m so proud of the steps you guy have taken and how far you’ve grown and would fight any Desmond character just for a chance to spend time with like minded people. You guys have made the challenges which is my life a whole lot better. So thank you guys for putting the things I love on the map and paving the way for young black entrepreneurs. I love you guys man

I can’t lie, this was probably the most fun and emotional weekends of my life. Being able to be in a space with your fellow blerds and creators you look up to is just an amazing feeling. In my 25 years of life I’ve never been to an event where I’ve made 10+ friends in such a short amount of time. I cosplayed for the first and was able to come out of my shell without fear of being judged by others. This is definitely a con I want to go to and experience every year from now on. This was my 5th DreamCon!! It's been a blessing to be able to experience all 5 years! The growth has been crazy. Not just the number of guest but the panels, the vendor hall, the activities, everything! I am forever grateful that RDC created a con for us to get together and nerd out! I like how we can all as humans come together for something we love. Especially how us black people didn’t trash nothing but showed Austin a white town that we ain’t the stereotype I also loved making new friends and meeting my mutuals

Looking back at last month’s events, from the cosplays, adventures through the halls to the friendly banter between creators of all kinds is like one huge family reunion. Fans being able to be apart of this extravagant moment every year is a extremely mind blowing. I love how it’s a safe place for everyone including black individuals, who share similar interests. Coming to panel to be inspired, to be informed, to be entertained or just to down right have fun is why everyone strives to come out every year. I pray that DreamCon will continues to expand and that it also continue getting the love & admiration for this beautiful society that they created. For that me and everyone thank you guys. It always puts a huge smile on my face anytime Dreamcon comes around and I get to see all the amazing videos and collabs from the convention! This past year was my 3rd DreamCon the growth was crazy! If I didn’t get to see anything else I saw so many young people enjoying themselves in a safe space. The blerd culture is shifting thanks to RDC and many other black creators in the space. Thanks for helping me find my people! I can’t wait for many more to come!❤

I was homeschooled for years and throughout that time I never got to experience friends and create any real memories. This was my first year at dreamcon and being around a large crowd of people and I wasn’t sure how I would handle it 😅. The vibe, the people, the energy was all there. RDC, Somebros etc, created communities for everyone to feel included. RDC created the space to make it happen. Real Dreams Change the World ❤❤ I’m so incredibly proud of everyone in this space and I can’t wait to see what’s next
That line about learning not to give up from anime is something I say everytime someone ask why I watch anime. This was my first DreamCon it was everything I needed it to be and more truly. The way you guys created for US will be remembered FOREVER. Thank you so much I have never felt more at home in my whole life. Never stop because I think I speak for most of us when I say this is so inspiring.
Every year that I attend DreamCon I leave feeling re-inspired to keep doing the work that I’ve been doing. Attending the panels, getting to see Black and Brown people have a safe space to enjoy nerd things together is such an amazing opportunity. If you were on the fence about coming next year, you need to do everything in your power to be at DreamCon ‘24. This honestly was the best opportunity to be at Dreamcon . Out of 5 years this was not only my first time at dreamcon but my first con all together . The community , the love , the UNITY, the music , the events , the cosplay, the creators !!! EVERYTHING was super amazing!!!!! I will never miss another dreamcon ever again . It’s hard growing up and not seeing too many black creators AND female creators in huge spaces like video games and anime especially. Y’all were able to create a safe space for not only nerds of color but everyone! Panels giving advice about how to be a content creator, how to get an LLC, how women can break into the world of a more male oriented space and more. Dream Con is literally the highlight of my year now and I’m so glad that I now have something to look forward to and to get excited about. I always leave super motivated to get my content started and add to the collection of talented, beautiful content creators. I love to see it all come together. So glad i was able to make it out this year, after forfeiting my ticket last year due to personal reasons. Been dreaming to go since year 1 and made sure I did whatever it took to make it happen. Through all the mishaps I'm glad yall boys pulled it together. Was hot as hell, but a movie nonetheless. Hopefully I'll catch yall at Eezy Ball and Dream Con 24'!

i am looking so forward to DreamCon 2024, the international comic con focused on all things pop culture. It's going to be an amazing event and I think everyone here should be able to experience it. Unfortunately, as tickets are in high demand, they can be hard to come by. That's why I'm asking you to please consider donating one of your tickets to me. I'm really passionate about comic and pop culture, and I'd love to see DreamCon 2024 in person. This was my first time attending Dream Con. Even though I knew of RDC, I didn't know they had a con until I watched Berleezy highlights last year. I had a blast, I saw my favorite content creators and I'm definitely going again next year. This inspired me to keep up my anime enamel pin business and just do the best I possibly can
That whole weekend was EPIC. The vibes. The melanin. The safe space to just be nerds and blerds, was everything. I didn’t want it to end ❤
This was my first con I’ve ever been to and it REALLY raised the bar. Seeing so many black creators and people who love all the same things as me was definitely an experience. And winning the camera that Aff gave in the filmmaking panel was just the icing on the cake 🙏🏾 keep doing what you guys do best.
Was such an amazing experience! Had a mf ball and met so many new people, everyone is so friendly☺️ The basketball and dodgeball was so mf live y’all really did y’all thing in all the events👏🏽 I went last year so this was my second and I can’t wait to make next year my third🙌🏽🔥 Imma make sure secure platinum next time so I won’t have to wait in those crazy lines lol. Watching RDC grow from the small group on RUclips making skits to the huge influence they are now is insane! Dreamcon really had me feeling like the first day of school, ready to wear my cosplays and seeing everyone elses. Seeing old friends and making new ones. All thr events and guests. The vibe was immaculate and i already cant wait for next year

This was my first dream con and I was mad I didn't get a picture of any or rdc but I did get a hug from my fav rdc members Leland. With that being said I had the best time for my first dream con. Can't wait to go back next year!!
This was my first con experience ever and it was definitely the most fun I’ve had in a while. I felt really comfortable just being myself without being judged or self conscious about anything. I was able to meet some amazing people who also helped make my experience what it was. Dreamcon is definitely a con I making sure I’m going to every year after this. It’s really great to see representation doing something positive, encouraging and uplifting. I wish RDC nothing but the best and to continue striving forward.

First time at DreamCon, and it was a better, friendly, motivating experience than NYCC, AnimeNYC, or even SDCC. This was a place hosted by content creators, and as a content creator, it really got me to meet, talk, and connect with well experience and new ones. I've met people from different states, and I'm still talking with them because I've vibe. Another thing this convention did was that the hygiene game was a Grade A because I didn't have to complain. I was motivated, but this pushed my ambition to go beyond my limits until I earned the respect to step on that stage with those incredible people.
If there is one convention I'm willing to pay every year, it will always be DreamCon. Thank you, and I hope to come back next year and hopefully be more involved.

This is legit inspirational . I'm a bit older but have always been into anime and video games . Growing up in a rural area and being a minority, it was rough ! So seeing this legit brings tears to my eyes. my husband have been watching RDC for years with our so, who will be 10 soon. I couldn't stop smiling the entire time watching this and neither could my son! To watch black genius truly shine through and inspire a generation growing up is priceless. Ya'll keep doing your thing and in a few years, I'm sure my little man will be old enough to attend Dream Con . Makes me so damn proud of my people for real!! ❤️

There so many things I could say about this convention that I could right a whole book report on it. This is my third convention i went to in my life and I highly enjoyed it. I saw so many people i have watched from RUclips there along with other great internet stars and it was like entering Hollywood rep carpet. I may have not seen rdcworld group themselves but that was not the main point of going to this major event. The point was to listen, watch, and enjoy everything that was anime based. It also warms my heart to see how well the anime community has grown within the last 20 years since I began watching anime and how well it is sweeping over and bringing the people together. Rdcworld you are and always will be one of the greatest group of people that have brought dreams together for this convention.
For me this was my third year of going. Each year the con has grown more and more and i always look forward to seeing how it evolves from one year to the next. Its one of the only conventions i actually carve space for in my schedule every year. Ive been able to network and make so many connections and friends from attending just this con alone. Its a nice space filled with great people and its always a vibe. Much love to yall for creating dreamcon and keeping it going all this time.

This DreamCon was a great experience for me. I always wanted to go to DreamCon but never able too go till this year. I was always watching RDC & other creators on RUclips so seeing all types of different people and content creators up close & personal was great. DreamCon 2024 I will be back.
My first convention ever was Dream con. I don't know others. For year 5, been to every 👏🏾 single 👏🏾 one 👏🏾. Rdcworld y'all did not disappoint. And on top of that I'm basically shutdown my city, Austin. So happy for your success and for what the future will bring. I just pray that next year will be even and better than before. #DreamCon24bound. Salute 🫡
Whole weekend was the definition of for us by us … the creators present were all so gracious and welcoming for the most part shoutout to EVERYONE who made this possible.
The creative energy was real, the talent was everywhere, and the vibes were immaculate.
For my group and I to go in blind, we still had a great weekend.. of course some things could have been better dealt with (some panels / events not starting on time, misinformation among event staff, etc.) but even still we came out of it feeling inspired and refreshed. Was able to make a lot of tik tok content from the weekend and connect with a lot of dope people in the process.
My friends and I can’t wait for next year. 🤞🏽🤞🏽
