Noticed ur question..u might have heard of dance hall queen Carlene..she made it famous..some might say she created the style but I heard her on a program explaining that she first saw the dance in Africa and she did some tweaking to it and made it her style...I'd say about 25yrs ago

That's dancing. We are copied all over. It was a Jamaican who birth Hip Hop in The Bronx. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲💯
I just hope them know that his name is kool herc he is a jamaican who came to America in the 1970 and created hip hop in the bronx.
Funnily enough i heard it from a preacher online and did research and found it was facts, impressive.
Yes I'm surprised that a lot of people dont know that what you see them doing home in Jamaica djaying on the microphone or toasting or chatting that's what kool Herc who came to America in the late 1970 to the bronx was doing and he met up with some American dudes and they called it hip hop they added the American twist to it. I'm a reggae stage show afficionada and when we go there you have guys like dougie fresh giving you the history of hip hop which jamaican already knew that stuff was invented or started by jamaican we call it djaying or chatting on the microphone like the elders guy like sir Coxsone, dillinger nicodemus ''sister Nancy and her brother and the elders that have passed on.When they hold the microphone and start chatting it's amazing beautiful sound with the sound system backing them.
@@michellethompson8778 We have a lot to be proud of as jamaicans we little bit but we talawa. That's why me afi love Ms louise Bennett also and amazing woman. Not to bring a negative twist to it that's why we have so much.haters like the guyanese and especially the trinidadian. I'm always ready for them on social media .We are blessed one love.
I met Koop Herc a couple of months ago

It was such a captivating performance I wanted to see so much more but I did notice near the end its like they were going to cut the music. Seems there was a time constraint. What Orville said at the end was very important and I am glad he got the opportunity to squeeze that in. Its very important to give the correct credit to the dancers
I arrived over here bcz of a school project and I enjoyed every moment of it 😊🤔🤔
