Hi buddy. So far, you've made a decent start. What I can possibly suggest you should do is that; Artifacts, much as Apollos Bow has great stats at the end, you're not going to spend much on this account to get there. So rather, instead of Apollos Bow, go for Caledfwish. You'll get Two Damage Stats, Two Troop Stats and an artifact still, namely: 1. Reduce damage from Mages (when 1 star) 2. Damage against angels boost (when 2 star) 3. Attack Boost (3 star + artifact skill) 4. HP Boost (4 stars) That way, when you consider 3rd and 4th stars of Caledfwich, you also get to boost your angel stats cause infantry + mages combo, unlike infantry archer for example, there's not a lot of places to increase your angel stats. So advantage for you in that regard. Also with your enhancements, I suggest for your weapon going with Damage increased against Cavalry Cause a lot tend to switch to cavs at the later stage of the game, also because you already have Damage increased against Infantry from Mjolnir and Brionac artifacts. Also your helmet, consider choosing reduction from archers or angels instead of Infantry HP boost cause there are many other places you can get that. Besides that, you're on the right track.

Infantry + Mage is a powerful combination that can be effective against both offensive and defensive players.
This is what I currently hold for my inf/mage setup, not a big spender but tho. All 4 stars except Excalibur which is 5 stars for me

Imo laev is awesome if you want to spend. 3 star + is worth equipping otherwise orhers better in its spot until then
