i loved it when vic talked about who edward really is... he has understood edward's character so well!! he is an excellent voice actor, he is my role model!!
It's so true though!!! I mean I'm Christian as well and I LOVE that show but I know that it's just a show and I can separate it from reality and from what I believe in and Vic is just right on that mark. :D
Vic is my role model. He is such a strong Christian and yet he doesn't condemn Anime. He realized, as we did, that Anime is better than American Cartoons because they actually have lessons and morals attached to them. They can teach many things. We just have to find the Anime that teach the right things. Also, they are stories. As long as we don't believe in them, we can enjoy Anime and God at the same time.

That's awesome that you got to see him and I'm happy for you. He's been through so much the past five years, and being able to attend conventions again has meant a lot to him. I met him for the first time at Anime Expo in '06, and I had an FMA item signed by him as well, being a soundtrack. And it's great that more fans are meeting him again as well.
@@PaladinCecil Let's hope his dubbing studio gains more traction. I'd love to see a JRPG, and a new anime under it. I can definitely tell that Vic truly loves his fans

Kari166 he changes his mind pretty quickly. After Nina and the incident with Barry the Chopper, he truly realized once more that alchemists are not gods at all, and just humans with their personal sturggles like everyone else

The first thing he said is something I think my brother doesn't really grasp. We both love movies and video games even though a lot of them have language, violence, and sexual themes. Although he doesn't think people should act that way. He used Mel Gibson as an example. Gibson has been in movies before where his character says things that we wouldn't say or he does things we wouldn't do. But I told him that that's just the character and it's just Gibson's job because he's an actor. I've come up with a few of my own characters that say and do things I wouldn't normally do, but they're just that: characters. And I don't have to be them to act their part, I just need to have a good enough voice so they don't sound bad

Filmation cartoons always taught morals too & they were American, but that was a long time ago.

I met Vic 2 days ago, and he was really cool and friendly. Even bought myself an Edward Elric print signed by him.
