We have Adventure Genie. Our first trip had 41 stops and 9000 miles!! Awesome product that I can't say enough great things about. He liked it so much he cancelled his trip wizard subscription and continues to plan our trips. Win Win!! Honest and great people to talk to and deal with! You won't be sorry you tried!
I can see how someone with a finite time limit for their travels could need this. We’ve done three, 3-month long winter trips in the southwest using only campground apps and local attraction searches. While we did have a few specific destinations the best part was just exploration, and the freedom to “let’s stop here and check it out for a few days”, a few places we stayed for two weeks. We were always able to get into the locations we wanted. Those discoveries were some of the best times ever. While on the road we use the “decide where to spend the night while we’re having lunch” method and it works just fine. The only hiccup we experienced was between San Antonio and El Paso, the Fort Stockton Walmart was the only halfway place to overnight and each time it looked like the RV circus was in town. Until you’ve experienced the freedom and sense of adventure of traveling without time and distance constraints, you will never understand it. Safe Travels
Thanks for this POV! Perhaps when I have a bit more time in this RV world I can explore that idea. There are 3 of us and all are 70+ AND newbies. I would’ve traveled almost exactly as you do most of my life but this late stage has its particular challenges. Enjoy your lovely spontaneity and, thanks to you, we might try to plug into your idea a bit as well. Happy travels!

Kinda reminds me of the old AAA trip tick from years ago but more things and places to pick trip tick was mostly driving directions . looks like a great idea
We love Adventure Genie! Used it to plan a cross country trip in the early days of its original release. Loving the new features - especially being able to add best spots to watch the sunset and bbq spots along the road. This is what trip planners need.
I came into this video expecting to be like every other site or program that helps you plan, where the user has to do the brunt of the work to plan. But this is truly something different. I’m only one year into rving and I haven’t taken any long trips mainly because it’s so hard to plan them. I think this service would truly solve that problem for me and others. Plus, I think the pricing is more than reasonable for what you get. Thanks for sharing this tool with us! And I hope in the future you’ll give us your own opinions and insights after getting to use it yourself.
This looks like a perfect match for our summer trip west ! I have tried the trip wizard planner but find it hard to use. Will definitely try Adventure genie ! Thx
WOW, what a great tool for RVing at a very reasonable price! We will definitely check this out. I like that it learns your individual preferences, instead of having to reenter them for each situation, really simplifies trip planning. Thank you for this video!
Very cool!! Looks very refined and easy to use. Scott and his wife have done a Fantastic job in making a working app even better and faster, with more Information. Izy and MJ fantastic information, I think this app will take off very quick.
Any chance that you can send the link to remap the ECU for our Ford engine and transmission? I've tried to track in down and use your link but can't find it. Thanks in advance.
So wonderful to see you Scott! Been a while, but great to see you in action again! Izzy/MJ, I used to work with Scott at Microsoft. Small world. Great product. Been following Scott through this new journey. Love it.
Retiring soon and have been wondering how to plan and especially get our stop overs as well as destination sites. I'm just now clear how you can know you have a site after you have the route and dates planned out?
Wow-this is awesome!!! Thank you! I love your reviews because I am from Bucks County and go to many of the same campgrounds and am also looking for a winter site down south but not in Florida!
Stellar product. I’m new to this RVing business and the 2 most intimidating aspects for me are repairs and trip planning. (Well, maybe meal planning too.) I can hire an rv tech but this planning business feels like you’re never caught up. I’m in love with this idea and this was my first time hearing of it. Nice discount as well. Thanks, guys!
Does this run on an Ipad as a gps as well - RV route safe? I just found that this is just a planner. Once completed you have to leave the app and figure out a way to get where you want to go. Another device (GPS)... another pain. RV trip wizard has this hands down as far as getting there and might work in conjunction with this ($50 each per year). Plan with this - add stops to trip wizard - then open this again and get places to stay, places to eat, places to see... then open Maps App or GPS & type in addresses to previous places mentioned. I think this may require more updates to become a #1 RV travel app. What GPS can the data download to? Do all stops get downloaded then the GPS figures out how? What about places to see, eat camp. would everything go into the GPS? I am skeptical of AI... if it's so smart why can't it get me there?
We have a rich and robust database of campgrounds that is built into the product. For other overnight locations, you can use the feature called GenieWishes to find other places to stay. For instance, try asking to "stay at walmarts" as a GenieWish. It's very flexible.
What a great video! I am so glad to see someone cool put this into a program form. I used ChatGPT to begin planning a recent Hendersonville North Carolina where we live, trip out west through South Dakota, etc. And ChatGPT was very very instrumental in doing some basic planning for me. But now that someone put it into a program form, that is the cats meow. Definitely signing up for this one and I’m gonna use your code, hopefully , they’ll put a nickel in your box for it. Great video thanks
I’m really curious to see how well it works. My wife has ideas where to go, and it’s up to me to figure out the rest. I like and use RV Trip Wizard, but it still leaves a lot of work. Also, will it take into account overnight parking? Obviously, it can’t find my Harvest Host and Boondockers Welcome since that’s proprietary. Anyway, sounds like a cool tool.
We are continuously adding more campgrounds and other places to stay overnight. We release updates approximately every 3 weeks with new features and updated places to stay.
Love this Adventure Genie. I would use it and I think it is a great price. Not bad for $49.99. I would use it for sure. Could you use it for a car trip? If you don’t mind me asking. Thank you Izzy and J for doing this video.
I used the GenieJourney and asked it for hotels along my route. It provided suggestions. I used GenieWishes for restaurants and things to see/do. So, short answer... Yes!
At the show, we had a user plan a Motorcycle trip using AdventureGenie, including great scenic routes, with lots of turns and finding moderately priced hotels along the way. Yes, it works for the non-RVer too!
We are first and foremost a Trip Planning service. We do not provide turn by turn directions in realtime like a GPS. We do enable trips to be exported into a GPX format that can be imported into Garmin systems. We also connect to mobile apps such as Google Maps and Waze when using the service on a mobile device.
Seems like a really awesome trip planning tool! Only question I have is will this software take into account the size of your rig and keep you on routes where you wont violate weight limits, low bridge clearances, etc...kind of like RV Life does for us??
Does this have a feature that indicates if a campground has available public transportation to local attractions or tour buses that come to the campground. We travel with a small Class C and do not tow a car. We have visited some campgrounds that were wonderful for us like Winter Island Park in Salem, MA and Cherry Hill Park in Washington DC. It's hard to find such places.
Hello guys, thank you for sharing great new things to your community. I decided to give it a try. I’m a huge fan of RV Trip Wizard. Unfortunately, as of now, AdventureGenie is lacking some of the features I love about the Wizard. For instance, Metric and US measurements, the building database for dimensions and weight of hundreds of RVs, no gas stations listed in Quebec (maybe all of Canada but I have not checked outside of the province of Quebec), addresses are not shown at their actual locations. My mother doesn’t live on a island as it was showing on the map… (hehehe)… Maybe it’s something I did wrong or maybe it’s a matter of setting the application. I’ll stay optimistic… :) You have a wonderful day. Keep up with your amazing work.
Thanks for checking it out. Our initial focus was on the lower 48. We are now adding Alaska and Canada and our campground and mapping software is updated on a regular basis. We hope that you give it another try.
This was fascinating information! We have never heard of Adventure Genie, mind blown. Thank you for sharing this with us! What an amazing trip planner. -Michelle
@adventuregenie Scott I've watched your in depth demo that runs as an advertisement, and learned alot about how to use it properly. My first attempt at using it resulted in frustration because im comparing it to RV Trip Wizard. So i notice the features that are lacking. Diesel fuel stops like TA and Loves. How do i bring those up? Hazards like low bridges? I know it will get better and better but campground reviews still not as good as RVTW. I think the map view choices were limited in comparison also. I need it to bring up satellite view on campgrounds and fuel stations and switch back and forth. Many other little details that make RVTW the defacto trip planner. Still i love the natural language input of AG. Certainly worth the cost and i will do a more comprehensive deep dive with the 30 day free trial. RVTW raised the bar of entry high. Others like the Dyrt tried and failed.
Thanks for giving it a try, David. We release new software every few weeks, so what we have in production is likely different from what you used. For instance, we recently released new map views, including satellite view. GenieJourney and GenieWishes are also incredibly powerful tools that simplify the process. And when we release the Personal Genie in a few weeks, it will be game changing. Our goal is not to compete feature by feature with other products, but instead to change the game by making the trip planning process simpler, faster and more personalized.
@adventuregenie thanks for the info! Do you think it will ever be possible to incorporate Harvest host locations into AG? I assume this would require an agreement with Harvest host, but that would be huge! Many of us use HH and we have to switch back and forth searching for locations along our planned routes. We tend to stay at HH about 50% of all overnight stays.

Thanks for checking it out. Our initial focus was on the lower 48. We are now adding Alaska and Canada and our campground and mapping software is updated on a regular basis. We hope that you give it another try.
Looks great, but concerned about the trip planning and routing, does it route for large RV’s safely or does it route based on standard car routing??
We provide RV safe routes.
@@adventuregenie thank you. Is there a way to enter height and weight my bus is 41,000 lbs and 13’5” height.

This was fascinating information! We have never heard of Adventure Genie, mind blown. Thank you for sharing this with us! What an amazing trip planner. -Michelle
Thanks for watching!
@@davidreyburn5548 We are regularly adding additional places to stay in AdventureGenie and are also big fans of Harvest Hosts!
@adventuregenie so I'll take that as a definite maybe? 🙃
