Thanks. A few questions: First of all, what about a situation where you've got a really complex subject, such as some denuded trees against the sky and you want to change the sky? The AI would have to be pretty impressive to be able to differentiate between the various white/grey/blue tones in a partly cloudy sky and the varying tonality of the tree branches. It could take quite some time to modify the mask, assuming that would be necessary and feasible. Is it that good? Also, do you know how this feature compares to the comparable one in Luminar AI? I have PSP 2022 Ultimate and AfterShot Pro 3 (although I do all of my RAW and most other processing in DxO PL6/Nik 5/Topaz). Is 2023 a significant upgrade or does 2022 have this feature (I've not used it that much--I have multiple learning curves already!). There are few cases where I'd use this but it would be a nice tool to have (provided I can use my own backgrounds--I'd never use anyone else's).
The program is limited. It doesn't work on large sized photo or art work. Would be nice if the max photo size would be detected and the AI asks if one wants to reduce it for the AI to use. It would be nice if it did have the PhotoShop background removal approach.

I've been using psp for more than 30 years. But today, my son has better software on his phone. He could replace the background and animate this woman and make her sing the national anthem - all while psp was drawing a cartoon line around this woman's hair.
Thanks for the demo, that is horrible for AI, really figured psp would be farther along, I could remove that well in PSP17.... haven't upgraded since because they have still yet to wow me with anything since 2016.
How is this AI? I mean understandable it was released in 2022 but thats a bad job. My samsung s24 does a better job and will add the correct lighting and shadows
Well, that's nice... Thank you. But where is her left arm ?
Rumour has it Kate Middleton is still borrowing it.
She was stranded on this island too long and had to eat it.
once you remove background can you save image to overlay on another pic like face of lion? thanks very interessting
Thank you very much for your explanation. Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!

Literally I'm cleaning up pictures of roots and it's a nightmare. might as well use a mask.
Did you notice the girl's left arm has been removed? I would have liked to see how to use the program to fix that.
Looking again at the start of this video I see that she never had a left arm. Poor thing.
