As a 90s kid this makes me so happy. Whether it was in Atlanta or a hick town in MD we played the hell outta Boyz 2 Men. Might just be me looking through rose colored glasses but it seemed at the time to be more accepted to play R&B followed by Hip Hop followed by Country followed by Punk followed by Rap and enjoy it all. Think it's why I love Crossover sets.

R&B/Soul…whatever you call it and Country go together like butter on a biscuit!!! This was fan-freakin’ tactic! Boys II Men’s sound hasn’t changed. They can still hit it like they did back in the day. Those runs-if you weren’t getting giddy, melting or jealous listening to them, Lord help you! And add in Brett Young…Awesome! And I love it that ALL those ladies were singing along and getting giddy like the rest of us watching.
Country started with slaves as most American music did. It’s why it fits like butter on a biscuit…the original creators of country are Black people.
