It's true that 70°c is nothing, but the noise generated by the fan can be annoying. Motives of buying a high-end graphic card, at least for some people, include the noise level. And I am also sure that some people are content with 60 fps stable performance.
Stuff like the Rog Strix 3060 or any fancy model of a crappy gpu shouldn't exist because at those prices you could just get the next tier card at same price and is money better spent. For models that are more apart in price and that don't worth the extra money (example when a 3090 was usd1500 vs a 3090 ti at usd2000) then yes makes sense to spend some extra for a good 3090 model vs a meh 3090 ti. Interesting comparison, but the difference is the support, component selection (cheap vs nice capacitors and such), noise, and longevity. Zotac makes cheap cards, so they have to cheap out on somewhere to still turn a profit. Other manufacturers (such as Asus), have a higher price point, but use higher quality components and spend more time engineering the hardware so the total user experience is nicer and the cards last a lot longer than cheap cards with cheap components.

@@alxnd_r6345 I don't really plan to upgrade the cpu, I was hoping 3060 ti would work with r3 3100
@@alangeorge5592 a ryzen 3 3100 would def bottleneck the 3060 ti but it'll probably be fine just a couple fps lost
Depends on the games you like and the resolution you use. For single player games that have low cpu demand and high gpu demand (like Control), it is ok. Specially if you use 1440p.
Now if you like games with high cpu demand (Watch Dogs 2, Legion, RD2) and multiplayer e-games, specially with 1080p, it is total waste of money.
in the last case, 3060 or RX6600 is more than enough.
@@HikYama and if I use it only for 1440p?
i have the same rtx 3060 ti however whenever i turn on rt in cyberpunk,i experience massive fps drops(despite enabling dlss),however in the video the game was running fine with around 60 FPS most of the time even with rt on-why could this happen?
Can a weaker cpu cause such bottlenecks?I have a 9400F.
Yeah bruh its the cpu dropping yo frames👍
Yeah its a bottleneck I also have the same zotac gpu and rtx without dlss in cyberpunk runs fine for me at about 40 or more fps with a 12400f
Yes most likely its CPU differences , 9400F is 6 cores / 6 threads (no hyperthreading) and Cyberpunk is very CPU thread hungry.
You have to check cpu and gpu usage with gpuz to be sure but yeah looks like the cpu is holding the gpu back.
CP2077 requires a good CPU , specially with RT on . Just watch the usage of your CPU , even in my 12400F have high usage .
IDK but I am really concerned about the power consumption and temperature of that cheaper but faster card. I'm just gonna go with cooler and less power consumption maybe idk.
Daul fan model has high thermals.
This is kinda weird test because of course no matter what model 3060ti still better ahead

Yeah Noobs.
480 both?
Что означает экспенсив и чип? В чём разница?
Main motive of buying a GPU is to get more fps not anything else
So the cheaper cards are good and value for money
If you think 70°c is bad for the GPU
Then you don't know anything
It's true that 70°c is nothing, but the noise generated by the fan can be annoying.
Motives of buying a high-end graphic card, at least for some people, include the noise level.
And I am also sure that some people are content with 60 fps stable performance.
Should be going by the Hot Spot temps
it's sad that the cheapest is even 480$ 81$ dollars more expensive than msrp
Both 20 below: Celsius and Frames
RTX 3060ti Asus tuff gaming trio fan is silent and heat low
366 USD Galax 3060
436 USD Zotac 3060 Ti
These are the prices in my region. Is the 70USD increase worth it?
Asus rog and evga xc 3060 same gpu clock boost 1882 MHz
Stuff like the Rog Strix 3060 or any fancy model of a crappy gpu shouldn't exist because at those prices you could just get the next tier card at same price and is money better spent. For models that are more apart in price and that don't worth the extra money (example when a 3090 was usd1500 vs a 3090 ti at usd2000) then yes makes sense to spend some extra for a good 3090 model vs a meh 3090 ti. But in the low end is ridiculous and pointless. Imagine someone sees your system and says "wow a rtx Rog Strix! What is it a 3080 or 3090?"...and you say is a 3060 👀😱😔😤😓😖🥺😭😭
in my country, 3070 strix is cheaper than msi gaming z trio by almost 20% lol
@@asfafgqwtgqwg yes well, sometimes I see that kind of stuff, the Rog seller must have gotten a new fresh batch with the cutted down prices while the Z trio one is trying not to lose if he bought at high prices. The gpu market has been all over the place, and the variables of prices is massive. That being said from a 3070 and upwards the Rog starts to make more sense since the difference with a basic 3070 ti isn't as noticeable and probably the price jump to a 3080 can set you back.
yeah right, top tier cards are just for better overclocking(bcuz of the better VRM and better cooling and maybe lower noise), otherwise they don't worth the price
Wow, that temp really tell the different
値段の安い高いはGPU温度とファン稼働率、ファンの音量に反映されるからそこも掲載しないといけない
I have the zotac 3060 ti and as long the fans don't go above 79% fan speed, it's not loud
and core temps go up to 73 without undervolting with ambient temps being 31 C
Cheap wins by a large margin i didnt knew that this 2 were on such diferent levels.
But what at cost?
20 celsius which is bad for some country.
@@LightMCXx nahh...68 g is fine for a gpu and even in some warmer room i think it won t hit more than 75 which again isn t a big deal ...The 20 perc diff in perf tho is ....and considering the price gap isn t that big those 50 to 80 bucks diff worth it for the ti gpu bigger bus = longetivity ...

Undervolt my Zotac 3060ti 0.962@2055(2040 24/7) 58~62c memory@7700 100% stable really good little card
Well done, this is for people who think that expensive card are always faster but it's not, but the expensive one has a better cooling and low noise + better creative card in term beauty for the PC.
You may as well undervolt the higher tier card for less noise and temp and still have better performance.
@@phucth91 True
I don't get why asus would even make a 3060 strix let alone a 3050.
Not the video you wanted but the video you needed.
We all knew the result but came here for fun😆
Dude please make a video about Marvel`s Spider-Man on GTX 1650 PLSS
Would avoid Zotac like the plague though
Can u try rtx 3060 ti manli in my place this was the cheapest
In electronic components keeping the temperatures low Is important so without thinking about It, I go for the Asus Rog Strix
And lose 30 percent of performance 😂😂😂😂
@@hunterjd exactly, you could undervolt the 3060ti for same temperatures and still way better performance.
In my opinion that's not the smart buy. Price to performance is much more valuable than getting a better cooler with a lower tier card.
You trade 10-15°c for 15-20fps. If someone find this worth than idk..
Next cheapest rtx 3060 vs most expensive 3060
Interesting comparison, but the difference is the support, component selection (cheap vs nice capacitors and such), noise, and longevity. Zotac makes cheap cards, so they have to cheap out on somewhere to still turn a profit. Other manufacturers (such as Asus), have a higher price point, but use higher quality components and spend more time engineering the hardware so the total user experience is nicer and the cards last a lot longer than cheap cards with cheap components.
Most of the money is cut down on the heatsinks and fans/shroud. While yes, expensive ones tend to last longer, cheap ones last as long as more expensive ones, as long as the cooling solution is fine
Asus Prime entered the chat.
The cheapest 3060ti where I live (i bought it) is the Asus dual fan mini ~500€. the most expensive 3060 is the Strix at over 600€ and the little Asus 3060ti barely goes above 60°c under load at over 30°c room temperature, and is super quiet. For the price of the Strix you'd be better off getting the cheapest 3070 ~650.
In my country 3060 sells around $430 and rtx 3060ti sls around $550
Asus tuf is better no coil whine silent mode why the strix doesn’t have silent mode weird.
My guess before watching is the cheapest Ti model.
Me with temp issue bought an expensive rtx 3060
The 3060ti is on par with the 2080s. It was a huge jump in performance. Look at it vs a 3070 and 3070ti. The 3070 is a misfit.
1080 Ti, which costs half the price and gives you better performance (for the obvious risk of being old and with no rtx, which no one uses anyway)
well the company only make their cooler not the entire GPU,
why is my gpu not under 99% load? i have rtx 3060 ti.
Cpu bottleneck probably
this is should be like that
Need better processor ryzen 5xxx or intel i5 gen 10-12
at 1080p you'll have CPU bottleneck.
Try 1440p or 4k.
@@hzwinip He has faster rams. My rams are only 4000 mhz and his rams are 5200 mhz. he has better fps in msfs. i would like to get more GPU utilization in msfs. my cpu is ok but my rams are to slow i think.
The difference here is the heat. A cheap RTX 3060Ti gets high temperature
How loud were the fans on the "cheap" 3060ti?
I have the same card and they never get loud even when they spinning as fast as possible
@Slome my case fans are louder than my gpu
@@germanfisch turn them on 100% with Msi Afterburner and see if you get any sound differences lol
it's not even that loud even 100% unless you're someone who's being annoyed by just anything who barely makes any noise or who can't afford to get a nice headsets or speakers or wants to attach his hear next to his pc case.
@@AlienGurke that makes no sense... lmao under normal fans it will sound fine... most gpus at 100% fans sound like a jet...

pros and cons man, rog board is more expensive because all internal components are type "A", hardware durability and design. Is much more easily that you need to fix your Cheapest RTX 3060 Ti components soon.
Strix cards for a product as slow as a 3060 is just dumb
there's even a strix card for the 3050 at almost the same price of a 3060 lmao
founders edition 3060 ti is 400 dollars on best buy so I would say that is about the cheapest one you can get
From what I see, they are literally the same. The ti just runs smoother in 4K resolution witch the 3060 kinda lacks. But over all either card is good.
Expensive RTX 3060 OC vs 3060Ti cheap (with or without undervolt)
saying cheap trx 3060ti to zotac
zotac : emotional damage!
But running at such low temps will have your 3060 live maybe one extra year so I don't think it's useless
Expensive mean better cooling system and design. that does'nt means expensive gpu have expensive gpu core and cheapest gpu means cheap gpu core.
Most expensive 3060 enjoyer vs cheapest 3060ti enjoyer.
For budget cards like these there's no reason to get the expensive models assuming the buyer is price conscious. Additional cooling features and high quality components don't translate well enough into actual performance to justify the costs. A useful comparison would be cheap 3060 vs cheap 3060 Ti.
For those who aren't price conscious well...just get the most expensive 3090 Ti and call it a day.
Yeah but do the cheap models have 0 rpm modes and have good enough heatsinks to never turn on fans for 100% of casual PC usage? I've had my Strix 3060 Ti for a year now, and when I did PC maintenance and pulled out the card there was 0 dust on the fans like it was brand new. Everything else in the PC had much dust. Higher end models are great for people who are too lazy to clean their computers.
@@XMansive Fair point, but does that plus the miniscule performance gain justify the coat as oppose to say get a cheap next tier model for better performance out of the box? I have a feeling most will say no.

Also noticed that the 3060ti here only running at 1905mhz. Mine can reach 1995 while undervolted and much lower temps and wattage. Lower wattage than a 3060 but much higher fps, can't ask for more :)
I need to do this to mine i already switched cpu for less heat then i realized my 3060ti runs at like 70-4 max load, how do you undervolt it
@@watchyojet Try to watch some tutorials on yt so you can learn it more thoroughly. But I use msi afterburner to set the voltage curve and save so whenever I start my system it will run on that settings.

Only the temps are better on the 3060
People don't understand, that RGB is addition you pay for, but you pay really for entire quality of components and more expensive version of same cards has better results and cooler temps, which also is good for entire pc :D
no it won't cause all the heat will still transfer to the ambient inside the case. The card is cooler because the heat sink is effectively getting the heat out from the gpu to the surrounding ambient.
@@markanthonynario5447 keeping chip on lower temps also keeps generating less heat inside case. There are cases like Zalman Z3 that with too much heat inside case, had some problems with heating at all
But I understand your point of view. To have good air flow you have to get everything good :D
@@Mardax0 you don't get it. better cooling or not those gpu still have the same chip and same production of heat. Unless the heat that's coming from the gpu is directly going out of the case then it won't affect other components otherwise same amount of heat will still be transferred to the surrounding ambient inside the case. The gpu might run cooler but the whole system will still be the same or even worst if the gpu cooler is effective in transferring the heat to the whole system.
The difference is expensive rtx 3060 ROG has 3 fans look at the temps no above 60C
And the strix is 25% slower still lol
I just bought the 3060 last week. Oh well
