Ikr, that was the first thing my mom always did. Cut off those dam star wars proofs of purchase to send in and discard the boxes. If we only knew then what we know now on collecting. Lol
The white frost on Vader is actually classified as a fungus. The spores lay dormant on the plastic and germinate in cool temperatures (below 66 F) and dark, humid conditions. It can be cleaned off but inevitably returns if not treated properly. After washing with a mild detergent, the figure can be stored in a dry, warm area for a day or two. That’s usually enough to kill off any spores that remain in the micro-crevices. The slimy feeling that some figures is another type of fungus but it usually responds well to the same treatment.
Came in with my daughter today and was so impressed with the store. I have been wishing for a vintage toy store like this to come to my area for a Long time now. The owner was super nice, and the selection and set up was out of this world. If you haven’t been to the store yet, get over and check it out because it is awesome!
That "fly" figure does go with the Battlestar Galactica figures. It is one of the alien species they encountered in their travels. Love the videos. Love Star Wars!
Crazy how super 7s got more gi joes & they’re easily accessible than hasbro. I could never find the figures I needed to complete my collection. I quit classified’s & o-rings chasing last year
i will say on thing that the transformers are around 2018 or 2017 from the tlk line so you were really close although i would love to visit your shop one day
The tacky feeling and the crystallizing is plastic , break down wash the figures. And use a damp cloth and spritz some tire wet on them. It will restore and protect from further decay.
Have you updated your online store yet? I keep checking and it still has hardly anything on it from any of these monster hauls you show. Is this only available at your store and not on your online store? Great videos
Most of the vintage stuff is in store only, it sells pretty fast. We did just hire someone to start listing more on line though so we will be trying to get more vintage up soon.
I had a full set of the star wars figures and they all went ‘sticky’ despite being kept in an airtight box. I think eventually once the current generation of collectors dies out they’ll be pretty much worthless as the younger generation of people growing up just aren’t interested in this kind of stuff unfortunately.
Buying vintage toys makes sense to me. Modern manufactured "collectibles" -- not so much. I wonder how many people are coming in and loading up with newly made stuff?
Man wish i lived in your area!

If only I had kept my boxes when I was younger. I have almost all of this
Ikr, that was the first thing my mom always did. Cut off those dam star wars proofs of purchase to send in and discard the boxes. If we only knew then what we know now on collecting. Lol

Toypolloi has this tape trick to use lighterfluid… works WONDERS on cardboard.
The Star Wars packages arent in shape . Greetings from Bavaria ( Nice Shop )
Looks like a Cherry Eye Yoda - see if he has a Hong Kong tag inside his cloak! Cool lot!

That Luke looked liked a double telescoping
Its not :(
Got a link for the after hours video............................. i missed it.
Use lighter fluid to dissolve the glue while keeping the box from being damaged more and plus the lighter fluid evaporates.
Cool, I haven't tried that yet but I may give it a shot
Very very cool
Thanks
I’ve herd lighter fluid or butane works best taking those stickers off or even tape. I would look into it. Might help.

Show the robot butler one.

Your blaster sound effect pales in comparison to your macho man Randy Savage impression
Lighter fuel, and 70%alcohol works well
Darn why can't I get these in UK

That Darth Vader legit looks like his Mom caught him using her credit card for Fortnite
🤣
Gonk!
Those 2 red robots are Black Hole figures.
Thanks for the intel
Did you buy these or did someone give this to you this is amazing
We bought them
Do you do mail order?
We have some stuff on ebay and can mail some items.

Wow I know that cost you a few grand
Star Wars? Is that the one with the robot butler that malfunctions? And he goes, f#$k you, master. Error. Error.
u have any changables
I think we may have some in the shop
Where is your shop at?
Utica MI
How can you own a shop and not know other products outside the realm of Star wars yes those were black hole figures
Its easy not to know everything
