However I always watched your videos because I can be sure that the video I am going to watch won´t be a waste of time... I have really just started following the art form of card magic and I am absolutely hooked to it. I admit I am really struggling with shuffles and pinky breaks and stuff. But man, I cannot wait to nail these basics, because some of these tricks are literally so simple, but so damn effective.

Though I knew the method earlier after watching your performance clip many times, I had seen that presentation the first time and it is good. Will use this force whenever I am having a double backer.

I use it as a card force by having them cut the deck anywhere they want. The first facedown card is the force. The DB makes a cleaner force.

I just got a deck with a double backer and this was the trick I went straight to learn because I knew it was the only one I wanted to do.

See I’m not a fan of performing mentalism (I come of seriously carny) but I love watching your vids as you have some great card tricks, you can never have too many tricks where you need a double backer! I can imagine putting this in a close up routine with a few other tricks before I get rid of the double backer and let the audience (when we’re allowed human contact again) examine the cards!

@@SpideyHypnosis I got a 50/50 blue and red double-backer deck from Penguin Magic years ago and still haven't gone through half of 'em. Great to have. I add one to every new deck I open.
OMG!! Quite versatile. Like the first one best. Amazing what miracles one can do with a double backer. I purchased a deck of them where are half are blue and half are red.

Hey Spidey ,I have a suggestion...when you turn 3 cards and then take out 1 card then their card is only card face up in the deck and you can also go through a truimph routine from there,by adding some modifications.

You get a double backer in Mark Spelman's "Gallery" deck - this is such a great way to force an IMAGE - and reveal in on a spectator's phone, for instance...

Very cool Spidey! I knew the perfect card force from (encyclopedia of card tricks) and I thought that was as good as it could get but no this is better. So many uses for a force card. I just learned a trick from (expert card technique) I have a slightly different method but same idea called (Transposition Extraordinary) definitely top 3 tricks now and it utilizes some basic slights people might have learned but don't know how to apply yet.

I actually thought you used the double-faced-sticked (from the other tutorial), which would sort of work as well, specially when you drop the ones in your hand over the face-down in the last part of the trick... That's a really great way to do it without Force though!!! Amazing as always!!!! And even cleaner!!!

Wow that was easy. Break in the deck to his card, manipulated it to the top, when you flipped the cards over on the "choice" you put his card there.

Ok so I paused it before you revealed how you did the trick and I’m going to guess that you have the chosen card upside down and drop it on the the second chosen card.
Edit: I was right, but clueless as to the method of getting that card upside down. Super cool.
