D213 and 61306 on The English Riviera Express and D1015 Western Champion on The English Riviera Airshow - 1st June 2024
Two railtours with heritage diesels and steam made their way to Torbay on the day of the Torbay Airshow.
The first was Saphos rail tour The English Riviera Express. This was hauled by EE Type 4 D213 from Crewe as far as Taunton, where LNER B1 61306 took over to Kingswear. The videos for this tour were taken at Cogload Junction and Allerford (just got there in time, hence lack of composition) on the outward run, Cogload Junction on the return. Class 47 D1924 (47810) was on the rear.
The second was Pathfinders English Riviera Airshow. This was hauled from Tame Bridge Parkway throughout by Western D1015 Western Champion. The videos were taken at Allerford on the outward run and Cogload Junction on the return. Class 50 50007 was on the rear.

So nice to see very nearly matching rakes of coaches (apart from that Pullman liveried coach) and matching liveried locos
