- This is a study of an authoritative text of Imam ul Haramain al-Juwaini, who was the greatest of Ash'ari and Shafa'i scholar of 5th century after hijrah. al-Irshad ila qawat'i al-aadillah fi usual il ai'teqaad(A Guide to Conclusive Proofs for the Principles of Belief) is a book written for those students of kalam have passes and crossed the primary two levels of kalam studies. This book represents middle path between the primary concise texts and detailed accounts. Imam ul Haramain al-Juwaini has authored this text in accordance with the later Ash'ari methodology .Imam ul Haramain al-Juwaini's final stance in few theological issues is recorded in his later final book "an-Nazzamiya".
The text is explained by our Shaikh Dr. Mus'ab alkhair idrisy. Our Shaikh Dr. Mus'ab alkhair idrisy is an Associate professor of Islamic studies. He received his formal university education(BS, MS and PhD) from Darul uloom, Cairo, Egypt. He wrote his MS thesis under the title " Development of the conception of Tawheed between Mutakallimeen and sufiya" and wrote his PhD desertion/thesis upon "Issues of Tawheed between Shia twellers and ahl e sunnat uptill 5th century hijri- A Comparative study" both of these were written under the supervision of Allama Shaikh of Mutakallimeen and Ahl e lughat, the ex-president of Maj'ma al-lugha al-Arabiya, and Member of the grand council of scholars of al-Azhar Dr. Hassan as-Shafa'i.
Along with his specialization in kalam, our Shaikh studied shafa'i fiqh and usul and attained ijaza in it from His father who was a mufti and scholar of shafa'i fiqh from al-Azhar university, he studied and attained ijaza in hadith from his father in law and the scholar of azhar and mufti of all 4 madhahibs Shaikh Dr. Zakiuddin Ibrahim r.a and from Dr.Fath ur Rehman teacher of hadith at International Islamic university Islamabad (student of Shaikh Maulana Abdulghaffar hassan). He got trained and instructed in the Idrisy silsila from his paternal uncle Shaikh as-sayed Mustafa. Our Shaikh also belongs to the family of Sidi Imam Ahmad ibn Idris the founder of the Tareeq himself.
May Allah protect and preserve our Shaikh from every evil and make us take full benefit from his 'ilm and suhbah. Aameen.
