Jóhanna Guðrun og Jón Jónsson - "EF ÁSTIN ER HREIN" - Yohanna

Wow, this is really one more great performance that simply brighten my day everytime when I watch this video! What a wonderful duet! Jóhanna Guðrún and Jón Jónsson are singing the song "Ef ástin er hrein".
Btw, I think it's remarkable to hear the strikingly great rejoicing of the audience when Jóhanna appears on stage for the first time! But when Jóhanna starts singing her part after a short moment, this enthusiasm is self-explanatory! For me Jóhanna is simply Iceland's most beautiful voice - and it's obviously that it seems to be not only my opinion...❤
"Ef ástin er hrein" was first released in early 2021 and was originally sung by Jón Jónssen and GDRN (Guðrún Ýr Eyfjörð Jóhannesdóttir), who also wrote the song together.
I guess Jón Jónssen should be known to all fans of Jóhanna Guðrún, as he also wrote the beautiful melody for Jóhanna's last years Christmas single "Löngu liðnir dagar", the first track of her dreamlike Christmas album "Jól með Jóhönnu" (Alda Music,2020).
This video is an excerpt from the concert "TÓNAFLÓÐ UM LANDIÐ - VESTMANNAEYJAR ", which was aired by the broadcaster RÚV first at July 2nd, 2021.
