    Thank You!!! I had built a hypercube and have had nothing but problems with it. I will be rebuilding the printer to a SimpleCube! The simplicity of the design and ease of build seems to be what I am looking for. Thank You!!! Awesome work!!!!

    Love what you're doing. I like what you're prioritizing and your thought process. Was considering building a trident but now I'm thinking this might be a better base to start with and customize to my liking. There were a lot of design/build choices that really had me scratching my head when I built my V0.1.

    Awesome ! Are you planning to upgrade to a 9mm belt?
    There are many opinions that 9mm belt will be less prone to vibration than 6mm.

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  2 года назад

      I thought about it however I have not found bearings to support 9mm width, I use flanged bearings for the entire X Y motion and 6mm hardware is easier to get. For the speed I am printing at 6mm seems fine.

    Very nice project and brilliant idea to make an aforable version of a core.
    Maybe I can help a bit, first I see yo go from hbot to corexy, could you please tell us why? I'm big fan of hbot.
    In the other hand, I think the bed is the money's drown here, If you go to standard ballscrews the price goes down even in the board, hey, this is MHO, just trying push a little further this amazing project.
    Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see the next steps

      feel free to join my Discord server! I really do like H-Bot too however most people wanted CoreXY. And I wanted H bot to be 10mm wide belts. Those parts are difficult to find. I couldn't really find good bearings for it. I assume ball screws would be alot more than linear rails?

    how good is the 3 way connector ? iam planning to build one and i see a small screw in that which hold the 2020 extrusions together

    So close to the final version😁 Is the bed 220x220? Will you plan to change the bed mounting? I also joined to your discord and try to follow the news there
    I noticed that in the bom the Z rails are 350mm's, but in the video you say 300mm.

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  2 года назад +1

      the version in the video is a 220x220 glass bed so 20x200 rough printable build area. Bed mounting won't change, hope to build a 300x300 version. Thanks for joining the discord!

    • @Rolohaun

      @@dsnyder05 The idea is to sell my 200x200 build to fund the 300x300. The BOM should be the same with the exception of 12x450mm extrusion instead of the 12x350, 450mm Y rails, and a 330x330 glass build plate.

    Do you have plans to enclose this printer for heating the chamber?

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  2 года назад +2

      thank you! I might enclose the 300x300 version when I build it. I will just use the heated bed heat to maintain temp. Should get to 50c inside.

      @@SeanTaffert there should be no issue with the motors in the chamber if it's heated passively via the heated bed. If you are going to use a chamber heater you will need to use high temp motors.

    Are you able to do custom frame sizes to suit different build plate sizes, for example 235mm² or 300mm². Like bed size x A = X Y frame size. Build height X B = Z frame size
