0.5%~ is correct when playing perfect basic strategy. Deviation occurs depending on how many decks get cut off but it usually hovers between 0.5-1% regardless of how many decks are cut
Look up Blackjack Basic Strategy, that's all you need to do. Once you memorize what to do in each situation, there is no more guessing or deciding what to do.

Also one more thing 11 vs Ace is a hit IF the dealer hits soft 17! Why? Because the dealer CAN BUST when hitting the soft 17 if you have a weak hand! In other words, the chances of the dealer busting with the ace is slightly higher than when the dealer stands on 17 thus the correct decision is to double down as even if you do not make a hand, the dealer can bust out when trying to hit the soft 17 (A 5-9 card comes out followed by a 10 to bust the dealer)

I've seen different things done in blackjack when insurance is open and you got a black jack shouldn't the dealer check if they have blackjack before they pay you out because it could be a push. count of + 3 even with two decks remaining gives a true count of 1.5. So bet size should still be only 1 or 2 times your original bet
