you do realize volk already defeated the top 5 guys so if ilia was to fight one of the top 5 and loses then volk will fight the winner and im sure you don't want to see volk vs holloway again
because there is no one left. If it weren't for volkanovski getting knocked out last fight, I would have even said that Topuria is a sacrificial lamb. He ain't tall enough to have the high kick advantage that yair rodriguez, makhachev has, and yair was the interim champ and got finished by volkanovski. If the tall interim champ cannot do it, what has this short, non dagestani guy got against him. Volkanovski even improved his wrestling. Most people are undefeated for some time until they aren't and this guy hasn't even faced holloway or rodriguez.
