The contrast, to me, is exactly what Something in the Orange is about: a heartbroken and hopeless person drunk in the dead of night reassuring themselves that with the morning sun things will get better; but as that sun sets the following evening they realize nothing has changed and the cycle of denial repeats
man your channel is a hidden gem. i love how open minded you were to a genre you don't usually like. i love zach bryan but seeing someone hear him for the first time brings me so much joy.
Dude I honestly love how honest you were. It’s okay to not like something and come in skeptical. What a great introduction to country. If you’re feeling froggy the next step to get a littttle more “countryesque” would be an amazing song by Tyler Childers called “nose to the grindstone” and honestly between Zach and Tyler you’d get a great idea of the direction country is headed these days
This is why I started the channel! The whole point is to check out stuff I probably never would have on my own! I have found a lot of great stuff so far! I think it could be good to stop just saying stuff just sucks or whatever without actually giving it a chance. (Myself included) I have found that you really never know! Will do soon! Thanks for watching!
He’s actually in a specific genre called “Red Dirt” which gets its name from the color of soil found in Oklahoma a lot Red Dirt artists got their start in bars surrounding Oklahoma State University in Stillwater Oklahoma and it’s said that Stillwater is the birth place of “Red Dirt” The genre also links to music made south of the Red River in Texas. Any who how Zack Bryan does not have ONE bad song and he’ll make you into one tough depressed cowboy with songs like “Codeine Pills pt1/Anita pt2” “A Boy like you” “Letting someone go” “From a lovers point of view” but no worries he also has many songs that gets the blood pumping like “Crooked teeth” “Heavy eyes” “Quitin time” “Revival” “Whisky fever” Can’t wait to see more of your Zach Bryan reactions 😁😁😁😁
i would recommend his entire catalog lol. but “snow (live)”, “the good ill do”, and “heading south” are a few of my favorites by him. great reaction btw
The music genre is Americana. The genre has many variations from a more rock feel, to country, to folk. If you get a chance, check out Poor Man’s Poison and Turnpike Troubadours. It is an underappreciated genre with a very wide range.
If you like this check out Tyler Childers (Nose on the Grindstone) and Colter Wall (The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie) Loved the video though! It’s always fun seeing someone discover new music🎉🎉🎉
Zach is an incredible songwriter and lyricist. You need to go down the ZB rabbit hole and share more reactions. Nice job!

Yes sir would love to see some more Zach Bryan reactions. His older acoustic stuff from around 2019 is really good as well
This is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard, incredibly emotional

I like to call this Yallternative music. My favorite song by Zach Bryan is Billy stay. You should give it a listen!
Check out heading south it’s his breakout song that really got him noticed
