You should use 1 skill point for assists and 1 for goals. So assists matter too

I feel like you should try and pass the ball to your other team mates more. You're always trying to score a goal, but that isn't your job as a winger, you should be focusing on getting the assists and not the goals. Especially as a new player, you want to help your team and not play solo all the time.
I loved when we didnt need skill points. You had to actually play and do well to grow your stats; train hard etc. It was more worth it back then. Now i can have insane stats at 70+ rating 💀
Bayer Leverkusen would be a really cool team to join and a great next step you could replace Wirtz

Pcq: there is a big stigma in the UK about American ballers, I believe you should go from EVE to Palace or Villa then shoot to France or Spain. And try not to go from 66-84 in one season. I think you should cap it to 5/6 OVR a season max

First team I played with in my first fifa game was Leverkusen. So, I vote you move on to Leverkusen and help them win the Bundesliga.
You should use the skill points that you earn from levelling up everytime, other than the default 80 skill points.

You should make the upgrading realistic. Don’t make your player 80 rated or more in 1 season. Set a rule for your points everytime you score or assist or get a high rating in your matches

Is it just me or the storyline with a high achieving football family was amazing and would be better if u make urself the cousin of Cooper rose. It’ll be very fun, and it’ll make sense because the Cooper rose career mode was rushed cause of fc 25
PCQ:Make sure to have one of your personality traits at 65% or over so that you can have a playstyle plus this time, unlike last year.
Add a skill point for every assist too
if you want to do close dribbling while pacing pacing
R1 and R2 at the same time while dribbling

use the skill points you accquire in game those are earned and do 1 goal =1 point for points you got off the bat

I think for this career you should stay at Everton for 1-3 seasons and try to take them to glory. Then you should transfer to either a top club in the Prem, Serie A to Bundesliga, then after a few seasons you should play at Real Madrid then retire at Everton.

I chose that😂 and my player grew up to 90 within 14 games also I am playing female career mode and they don't have FA cup or carbarro cup for some or the other reason 😂
