Another awesome video! And thank you for the link to the ice cube tray! I've been thinking about looking for the trays but kept forgetting. The brine shrimp hatchery we have is an awesome size for what we have it for but definitely will look into this one so I can freeze them
This is a very interesting vlog and topic for me. You show a different way to hatching bbs. The tools you use are really modern. I not hear the noise from the hatch tool.. Thank you so much for share this video. I'm waiting for the next vlog. Greetings from Indonesia..
@@GuppyGuru my gaol is to collect all of them, I think there is like 20 or so. I think its because i want to be a shark biologist when im older, still deciding whether or not to go to college for it first or the Navy as a Navy Diver, cause the Navy will help pay for college so, btw im only 15 my plans can still cahnge
I wish I had a reason to buy one of these lol I’m just going to be starting out and I don’t want to spend that much to start so I’ll probably just be making one out of a bottle or other container so I can see how it goes. Ide really rather build a colony of them in a small container so they just reproduce tho in my research I’ve learned, that’s a little bit tricky when you first start out although a proper cycled tank and keeping a close watch on salinity is the key. It just sounds like a little bit of a pain because, it’s kinda like setting up an actual salt water tank which I’ve never done. lol
Kody Green you’ll see the white egg dot on their stomach and they will also have a section inside their body that is like a cream colored triangle inside them.
@@GuppyGuru the reason I say that is,, I use aquarium salt when hatching brine and over time if you don't rinse it , using brine in smaller tanks the salt builds up and has negative effects on planted tanks
I very much appreciate the not “intense” high vocal level. Cool, educational review. Good stuff, this is going on my Christmas list 😁
Miguel Soliz glad you enjoyed it! I try to be myself in all my videos!!
Thank you very much for the crystal clear illustration.

You are going to love it, way more BBS than you think it will be!
Cant wait just started selling some guppies time to make a million more lol
@@clayd9477 im sure you will do well!
You could also put some in the fridge and make them go dormant for those of you who have fish that will only eat live food.

I run a piece of airline tubing from the nozzle so i can drain it without hanging it up. Either way works.
Really nice video!! Definitely subscribing!!
Bruno’s Exotics thank you very much!!
Good idea to freeze the excess shrimp. That’s genius.
Brian Marshall no need to waste good brine when you can freeze and use it later!!
Just order one can't wait for it to come
Any issue with not having a light to attract the shrimp to the bottom of the container?
Don Cervantes I just bring out a flash light or a desk lamp I have,
I'm very excited to receive my new hatcheries from the Coop any day now! My old soda bottle one are looking tired.
Tiffany White yeah they are great you’ll love it!
Well done!

What does the baking soda do? I’ve only used salt
Eric Wong helps break down the shells more efficiently
That just means they gotta work a little more one it make it taller so another container could fit
And also what’s the best way to get the eggs separated from the shrimp?
Leo Contreras a sieve is the best option, but get a light let them all sink to the bottom and collect
Guppy Guru Awesome thank you bro
Leo Contreras of course! Happy to help thanks for asking!
Guppy Guru thanks again bro :)
Do you empty the brine shrimp with the water directly into the tank?
No you will need to rinse through a sieve first
Awesome video
Dan's Aquarium thanks very much!
Your a big inspiration
Dan's Aquarium means a lot!
How do you tell male from female betta’s? One of the female I got from you is soooo beautiful, Koi with blue eyes I have to breed her!!!
Kody Green you’ll see the white egg dot on their stomach and they will also have a section inside their body that is like a cream colored triangle inside them.
Guppy Guru you have to do a betta breeding video 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Just got mine today at what temp should it be at ?
And do you use tap water or filtered water ?
I just keep mine at room temp so 75-78 and yep just tap don’t even need to dechlor
Guppy Guru ok awesome so when you feed them you just get the brine shrimp don’t throw use any of the water
Leo Contreras you can use some of the water but get a sieve and get them that way
Guppy Guru ok awesome going to do my first batch today
Sold out. Gawwwd! 😣

@@GuppyGuru its done goldfish are playing folow the leader so funny
Surprised you don't rinse your brine after harvesting it
yeah I have not rinsed it, but I may try to see if I get different results

mike stambaugh no for sure! I can totally see that being an issue!
