I've been listening to this on repeat for over a day now. Every single word hits home, every chord of the guitar pulls at the strings of my heart. It has been so long, years, maybe a decade? Since the last time I felt feelings like that for someone. Wandering alone in the dark for even the faintest sign of a light or a glow of warmth. Then I found it, and I could finally feel again, I saw the stars & dreamed again and felt invincible, I felt ALIVE. But then it was dark again, the stars were gone and I found myself in the dark again. So dark, not even a shadow to keep you company. If it were under different circumstances I would have fought tooth and nail for that star light to come back, but she has much bigger issues to address right now than a possible love interest. The timing was just bad, even so I am thankful, so thankful that even if for only a short time I could feel again. Letting go is hard but healing. I wish I learned to do that earlier in my life. I wish I have never had to let go. I wish others felt the same. Be kind and friendly with others, do not get too emotional about stuff and focus on the most important aspects of your life. The way you percieve the outer space is just a reflexion of how you see you inner self. And if you love someone, make them understand. If you miss someone, make them be aware of that. If you get inspired by someone, congrats! that is the most beautiful and valuable experience I have had in my life. Do not miss on something, you can get back. The way you percieve the outer space is just a reflexion of how you see you inner self. And if you love someone, make them understand. If you miss someone, make them be aware of that. If you get inspired by someone, congrats! that is the most beautiful and valuable experience I have had in my life. Do not miss on something, you can get back. The Quote that I understand now but never really heard of when this song came out was “When you are happy you like the music but when you are sad/ depressed you listen to the lyrics. “ When this song came out I loved the music so much like it became my favorite song like at 11 years old I was the happiest kid but now it hurts to even think about my past relationship. I mean lord we left each other on good terms but I never understood the lyric “You only love her when you let her go” until now. It’s truly heartbreaking but all we can do is move on and hope that they are happy!
