Why wasn't Nadelmann listed in the title? She's not only glamorous but has superb technique. She does take more breaths than we did in the old days but she's excellent. Hardenberger, as always, is a miraculous musician. This is a little gem.

Wonderful interpretation, full of verve and jubilation!

Anyone know when/where this was recorded and the story behind it? Hakan stopped performing baroque early in his career, but he appears older here with grey hair.

Tomislav Facini)

      Regrettably, you're using contemporary typeface

Sorry but this is a poor interpretation of the work. The trumpeter is fine, the soprano is poor. There is no need for such a large orchestra not the conductor. The orchestra can take the time of this work form the leader.

The performance greatly interested me. Your comment profoundly bores me.

Sadly it comes across as fast and emotionless
