Got lost trying to get to a creek and came across a dog, too. It was guarding a homeless camp. Occupants were really nice and pointed me in the right direction back to the creek. Nothing like reality to smack you upside the head of the blessings you take for granted.
You're demeanor reminds me of my late grandpa Charlie. He's been gone for 19 years, but we sure used to spend ALOT of time in the creeks and rivers. Time very well spent. Great videos Mr. Gene!!!

MAN I LOVE your vintage reel collection......and it's amazing that you can still use them like the one in this video that was made in Switzerland in the 50's!!! I would cherish those vintage reels like NOBODY!!! Even though I mostly just crappie fish I do love ALL of your crappie videos and though I'm not much on the bass catching videos this video was near to my heart, me and my buddies use to walk down creeks like this in Texas just going from pool to pool with deeper water to catch bass like this back in the 80's....I still think about those days often and would love to do it again when life slows down and I'm not working 70 hours every week anymore!

This is my favorite type of fishing, we do it all the time in my area of NW Florida when the rivers get about knee deep, I love using beetle spins with a bobby garlin for the grub, catch lots of warmouth, redbreast, crappie, and largemouth, another great video Richard woooooo!

I am not a man of faith and yet I find your commentary on God and fishing relaxing and well placed. I love creek fishing as well and taking it all in from trout to bass to even chubs and sunfish the exercise and experience woooo!
