Thank God this video is still up. I work in a school kitchen and we have one of these. I didn't really know how to use it until now. I plan on shredding some cheese with it and it's also good to know the cheese should be frozen.
I recently upgraded from a Cuisinart to a Robot Coupe R301 Ultra. I had no idea what a difference there was between the two products. The Cuisinart cost around $150.00 and the Robot Coupe R301 Ultra cost around $1500.00 (about 10 times the price). The Robot Coupe gets the job done without having to work around the numerous limitations in the Cuisinart. So far it has shown itself to be worth every dollar that I paid for it.

That's right Vivienne. A Cuisinart is a retail machine (home use), but the Robot Coupe is made for commercial applications and will last about 10 years longer than the Cuisinart if cared for as instructed.
Cuisinarts are good for basic home use. Robot Coupe Food Processors are designed for Commercial use. Yes, the Robot Coupe is a far more robust machine.
Due to my job I do not have time to cook every day. I have to cook fairly large batches on the weekend,. put the food in hotel pans and eat it during the week. My Robot Coupe 301 Ultra was a perfect solution to my time constraint issues. Now I can prepare fairly large batches of great tasting healthy food for the week, and do it in a fairly short time period over the weekend. This eleminated eating restaurant food during the week. The smaller Cuisinart was just too small to do what I needed.

I wish the R2 had the magnetic safety mechanism.
Can it dice scallions?
Is this model good for making dipping sauces and pastes? Like Hummus? I am thinking about getting this model for my cafe to use for that purpose and as well as cutting vegetables
Cyy Odon go with the R2 model
I am from Australia and recently purchased R301 Ultra. D
I have 2slicing discs a grater and julienne blade. However I wanted to buy a French fry chipper and a few dicer kit sizes.
When I rang a Robot Coupe rep company in Sydney, they said it is impossible to dice and chip on a R301 Ultra D model.
Is this true ?
The "R301 DICE Ultra" comes with a 10mm Dicing Kit, and 8mm and 12mm Dicing Kits are available. There are also 8mm and 10mm French Fry Kits available. Many slicing plates are available for the R301 Dice Ultra if you want to make chips. The R301 Ultra does not dice.
Nice video guys. My 301 uLtra D looks identical to this model, it is really annoying that after investing in this machine I cannot dice or that robot coupe don't make an attachment to retro fit it
Thanks for posting this video!! Can you tell me is this machine made in China? Thanks
No they're made in France.
Qual a máquina que pode pulverizar amêndoas torradas de forma a ficarem líquidas.
