Thanks for your comment. Sailor is in-between the two in terms of feedback in my experience, all three have feedback for the finer nibs, with Platinum having the most.
Wonderful video! I am a big fan of Japanese nibs as they tend have finer nibs than the Western brands. I prefer the Plaisirs/Preppys, but the filling aspect, on the nib, might have me tempted to buy one eventually.
Thanks for your comments, I think the Procyon (for its price) is a wonderful writer. The nib is definitely superior to the Preppy lineup but in a different way - it is wetter and slightly bouncier. I also like that Platinum has added a durable metal body - this will be understandable for people like me who have broken a few of their plastic pens.
Another clean, elegant, clear sound, fantastic close ups video🥇 I heard so much about stiff platinum nibs that I erased them from my list but waski squirrel youtube says his are great and now this review of yours, intrigues me. I think Platinum, to compete, introduced Soft Fine, Coarse (BB). I recently bought a Pilot Custom 742 black M Wavery nib very smooth (western MF feeling) amazing writer. Now I'm looking for a Soft Medium (according to internet, Platinum don't have) but I wonder if I should try Platinum Broad expecting a Medium or just look for Pilot soft medium. I know they are different but my dilema is: Would a Platinum 3776 Broad write like a west M with a bit bouncy? Would a Pilot (74,91,743??) Soft Medium write like a west MF with bounce? I'm sorry if you can't understand. It's hard for me too🙃
Wow, a Pilot 742 Waverly! I was tempted to get one too, I think its smooth and also allows for easy reverse writing. It very much depends what you use your pens for and your handwriting size. The Soft Fine for the 3776 is one of the top top nibs regardless of price. I don't fancy Mediums much and I prefer EF/F or B/BB/Stub if I have a choice. I think Platinum Medium is pretty close to a Western fine. Coincidently, I have a Platinum Broad. Will do a quick look soon.
@@WrexelsWorldI wonder if Pilot 74 has Waverly nibs Fine? Mine says WA Medium (smooth, great reverse wrtng too and bouncy; with pressure gives a western medium. Looking forward your next reviews.Thank you so much 🙏🖋🤩
I have the porclein white. Very nice!
The Japanese nibs are my favorite. I haven't tried Sailor yet, but Pilots and Platinums are smooth as silk.

I'm very satisfied with the more 'formal' finished 3776 "Century" - "SF".
I agree that the 3776 in SF is one of the great nibs out there along with the Pilot Falcon SF.
I have three. The red, blue and Nice lavande (purple) and the next will be the green one. Yes, I'm a collector. Most pens are Lamy Safari.
Just to let you know, the number 5000 refers to the price in Yen. I thought you forgot to mention it. Thank you. 😊
They just released this in Maki-e.
Thanks for that!
