same happened to north crowley last year when they refused to shake hands and then prosper humbled them
so the players didn't just decide that - the HC was involved in that as well. if that's what you're teaching your boys or allowing on your team, you need to be fired - immediately. if you're willing to compromise on that, then IMO the basement is never low enough for you to stoop. no joke. this game is sacred, lots of these kids are coming from various backgrounds and there are common denominators that you want these boys to get out of this game - you want them to evolve to be strong and good men. men that when the going gets tough, they hunker down and fight for their families. men who don't walk out and quit. men who have honor. you lose all of that - in one fell swoop when you tell these boys - lock arms and don't shake hands. this is 60 min of combat, hell some of these boys may be on the same college team, or playing against one another. just such a turd move.
i thought WF may be able to get past them in a squeaker - but even if that was the case - that stunt probably gave them the motivation to just shlack them into another universe. Good on DV...
