1 special thing about BINI is that they use sign language in most of their choreo so the deaf blooms can understand the song as well. That's why there's a lot of hand gestures in the dance choreo😊

The Filipino girl group name BINI was taken from the word binibini, which means "young lady", a nod to the group's vision to "embody the idea of a modern Filipina - sweet, fierce, independent, and informed". They are from Philippines🇵🇭

Mikha is half filipino and half american, she speaks english fluently, and its p-pop😅

She has a conyo way of speaking (Combination of filipino english with american accent). She studied at DLSU hence her conyo speaking because they speak english in that school. And Mikha's father is of chinese decent hence the family name "LIM".

☺️ BINI's vocals are so refreshing to listen to. The girls have been training hard & taking vocal lessons I believe. BINI just keep surprising you coz they're just getting better every time they release a new song. I highly recommend you watch their live performances (fancam). These girls live vocals & stage presence are incredible.

Karera is literally a bop at the same time very inspiring and they also incorporated sign language to their dance choreo like they did on Cherry On Top to be able to deliver the message of their song including to the deaf community.

Been watching all their music videos from time to time. My husband doesn't really stan ppop girl groups like this but he's totally memorized most of their songs and even gets to the point of getting to know the members😄

they're really fun, on-screen and in their real-life too, they interact with fans so much too (esp twitter).
and on top of those, they're really supportive of and advocates for the minorities and vocal of social issues (most ppop idols are).
they lately had a surprise appearance performing with drag queens at a bar, they did it for free and the videos from that event were so much fun to watch. the people who came to watch w/o knowing they'd be there were super respectful and the girls had fun too. they occasionally watch drag performances, and sheena is a fan of the filipino drag queens.

During Sheena's solo "Ayokong maniwala!" this is what the fans call "Aiah's noot noot dance". As her lips' automatically goes pouting during this dance sequence. Noot noot is the sound of that penguin in a cartoon(clay like stop motion) where its mouth is pouting too.

Karera is next. the MV is topnotch, production is also the same, the song is very inspiring and uplifting, the girls are incredible and the dance. the dance is one of a kind, the dance uses a difficult technique and they infuse their choreo with hiphop element, as a girl group its difficult to see girl groups uses hiphop in a dance so the dance break was actually mind blowing. cant waittt!! once you fell into this rabbit hole and get into their personalities. surely you will never leave this group. theyre loud asf and soooo funny. thank you so much kess and han!!

BINI Is Really Just So beautiful and very much excited to see the moment the group gets more attention and recognition in America Korea and international
Just FYI, the Tagalog language doesn’t contain gendered pronouns so when Bini sing songs in Filipino, unless the lyrics are in English or they are loan words from Spanish, then they can refer to either a male or female partner/romantic interest. There isn’t even a Tagalog word for husband or wife. It’s “asawa” or spouse. I noticed that when you use the CC to English they translate non-gendered Tagalog pronouns like siya or niya or kaniya to gendered English he/him/his. I’m not saying that Bini members are singing it to a woman or that was the songwriters’ intent, but just saying that when you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community, singing in Tagalog or any other Philippine language, you often don’t have to switch pronouns to make the sentiment of a song authentic to your experience specifically. I love that about our language.

Karera is probably one of the most difficult choreo they have. If its dance practice it should be "Karera" although their dance practice videos are really superb. And if its vocals, I honestly recommend "Lagi". They also have a dance with live vocal practice video for this song. If you want to hear how superb they are with harmonies then "Huwag muna tayong Umuwi".
Anyway, I love how you 2 know their names now. They're really a fun group to watch. I know you both love Twice and some Onces said they have that Twice vibes.
