சிங்கப்பூரில் வாழும் தமிழன் என்ற முறையில் திரு சண்முகம் அவர்களின் தமிழ் பேசும் அவரது அரசாங்க நேர்மையும் வருங்கால சந்ததியினர் கற்றுக்கொள்ள தூண்டுகிறது. சிறிய நாடு பெரிய நாடு என்றில்லை அரசியல் வாதிகளின் நேர்மை அதே சமயம் அரசாங்க அதிகாரிகளின் நேர்மையுடன் கூடிய பணிப்பொறுப்புமே ஒரு நாட்டை முன்னேற்ற வைக்கும். இவை இரண்டும் இருந்து விட்டால் மற்ற ஊடக, சமூதாய பிரச்சினைகள் அனைத்தும் தீர்க்கப்படும் என்பதற்கு சிங்கப்பூர் மிகச் சிறந்த உதாரணம்.
கடந்த 6 வருடங்கள் இந்திய மத்திய அரசு ஊழலின்றி செயல்பட்டும் அரசு அதிகாரிகளின் ( பெரும்பான்மை) நேர்மை அற்ற பணி பொறுப்பு இல்லாமையே இந்தியா வேகமாக முன்னேற்றமடைய திணறி வருகிறது.
முதலில் அனைத்து அரசு ஊழியர்கள் சங்கங்கள் கலைக்கப்பட்டு அரசு ஊழியர்கள் போராட்டம் நடத்தாமல் சட்டம் இயற்றினாலே இந்தியாவின் வளர்ச்சி இன்னும் 50% அதிகரிக்கும்.
