After some feedback in my comments and in my stream I changed the intro/removed the talking part, added a little loadout screen with a few tips and added a kill counter Do you guys prefer it this way? or rather back to the old talking intro? (I will test this "new intro" for 2-3 videos and will gather feedback) Honest feedback would be greatly appreciated! edit: I noticed the kill counter (very 1st kill) on the first game is delayed, I did some last minute adjustments - and must have moved it by accident X___x
I prefer hearing your perspective on whatever you're running at the start of the videos personally, as someone who watches your videos more because I'm interested in your perspectives on weapon variants in theory and practice and take them into account when I'm making my own loadouts, rather than someone who watches just to see the gameplay. I can see why the second type of viewer might like the new format better, but I thought the detail you went into outside of the games was the best part.
The idea with kill counter is great. And the thing that you move the talking part from the beginning is good also. It is easier to receive such information in the middle of the video. (Higher chance of not skipping it 😉)
I like the talking intros; it's nice to briefly hear your opinion on the loadout you are running. Maybe some of them were a bit too long and some basic things don't need explaining, like "The Berthier is a $356 long-ammo rifle which comes with stripper clips and a capacity of 3 rounds each", etc.
I really love the intro to be honest. Your videos were more than just "highlights" it was a complete package where you explained the value of the loadout and showed its impact in game. I got a lot of value as a new player and I always check your videos for a new weapon I want to try. Love it!
I would rather go back to the old talking intro. IDK, maybe I just enjoy you talking lol, or simply it's nice seeing breakdown info before matches start, there's always a chance a new hunt player may watch you, and would be more beneficial for him, to see what you pick, why you pick, and which traits you picked, and why.
Hey Whityyy, big fan of your Hunt videos. You know, I really enjoy hearing you talk about what your thinking through each round. It really helps me to look for the same thing in my games. The intro in the beginning seems more natural to me. Either way, great video. Please keep them coming.
Noted! I will still do the guides when I go indepth, ingame commentate but it also seems like people liked the little "loadout talk" at the beginning, I might move it a little bit further into the video
Servus Whityyy, i like both versions of your intros, but if you keep the new one then add traitnails with a little explanation why to take them. I´m always looking forward to your videos because your aiming and your awareness of your surroundings are top notch. I like your editing because i prefer watching videos with as little cuts as possible so i see the whole story and not just twitchclips of the week. Now to the Berthier part... the Bornheim is an awesome sidearm :) but the Berthier could be switched with any other sniper in the game, why not focus on its strengths? different ammo types and fighting in its respective range, the benefit of getting more ammo out of boxes etc. keep up the good work dude :)
Awesome vid once again my dude! For feedback: Maybe do a teaser clip(not your best one but something eye catching) first then intro then games. As for the kill counter I'm not a fan but thats just me. I feel the video loses it's immersion. And lastly keep up your amazing content, always a pleasure to be in your chats and watch your videos :)
I really appreciate the feedback! Just currently trying to figure out what people enjoy the most. Like I said I will do the "new intro" for another video or two and then see what people think - I personally have no preference just trying to adjust my content a little but in the direction my audience prefers it
I like the new one (as I watch 20-30+ vids a day), but don't mind the talking one where you gave your thoughts briefly. I can see why other people like the older one!
Hello Whitty, would you recommand to me to use spitzer or just regular ammo ? I don't have your aim, I confess it. So what kind of ammo is the best for someone who doesn't put so many headshots ? 😂😂😂
Mosin with normal long ammo is completely viable, spitzer just makes headshots easier but redowns and 2 taps harder. Just stick to normal ammo for now I'd say
@@damienbrohan7431 Without Bulletgrubber taking a second ammo type allows you to save ammo by switching the ammo for reloads, but it takes it time. The ammunition in the first slot nowadays has 9 total and the second slot with 6 bullets, so choose wisely what you want more of. Personally, I would mostly put the special ammo in the second slot, since they are harder to resupply and you probably don't get them back up to 9 again. The nice part is that you can use all the boxes at the supplies and get the double amount from an ammo box you bring. And with the challenges in mind, you can bring fire ammo without loosing penetration capability and still can fire multiple shots unlike Martini or Sparks.
@@Whityyy nice vid btw. I like the berthier somehow, but as a shotgun main…I suck at sniping. Might take this again for a few practice rounds to mix up my playstyle.
Whats the deal with headshots not registering? I thought it was just me who had issues with body taps on blatant headshots. It happens to me at least twice a week
i havent played hunt for quite some time, so looting hunter now also give you ammo so u dont have to switch ur weapon to take their ammo and switch back anymore? or is there new perk for that?
Love the gameplay and weapon selection, but i would like to hear more about the loadout, why is this, why is that and so on. Being just an average player is nice when ''pros'' talk about their preferences and why... Im not a huge fan of Spitzer ammo because you loose a good amount of damage, and also loose the hability to down a hunter missing a bar... Is somewhat a ''trade'' for one tap body shot potential or 2 tap body shots more consistent to a bit more precision to the head... I like the Berthier, but talking about scopes i think the Lebel is the best in the game, better than Mosin Sniper. For me, the zoom of Sniper variants are a big too big for most encounters... Marksman zoom is enough for longer distances and more consistent up close. Berthier / Lebel / Mosin feels very similar while shooting, the biggest weak points on Berthier and Lebel are the reloads. Lebel is extremely slow to reload, but at least have a huge mag. Berthier dont have much bullets and dependends a lot more of bullet grubber.
I mean the benefit of spitzer ammo when sniping is that as a sniper you ALWAYS are trying to hit a headshot. Spitzer has the highest velocity which means it requires the least amount of leading your shots which as a result makes it easier for you to hit said headshots. That is why it is the meta sniper ammo. In my personal experience having the highest velocity makes up for losing some damage. On the ranges you usually engage as a sniper the damage is fairly irrelevant because you are not going for body taps (generally speaking, there are exceptions obviously) On scopes the berthier marksman is actually the only scoped weapon that does have a fast reload. Mosin sniper loses its stripper clip reload when playing the sniper variant while the berthier marksman maintains its 3 bullet stripper clip reload. I personally also prefer the marksman scope over the sniper because of the same reasons you have said. It is the sweet spot for longer ranges while not making it awkward to fight inside a compound.
I think theres certainly room for discussion about the ammo choice... I saw streamers like you that prefer the Spitzer, some prefer the regular ammo and i also think depends of the play style. For me the biggest point in regular ammo is the one tap potential to kill players that are missing a bar, but after some distance you loose that anyways and as you said Spitzer makes HS more easy. My best round ever (and by a good margin) was using a Lebel with Spitzer but im not that good, im more consistent with regular ammo. I suggest you to try the Lebel... Fastest bullet of the entire game (630/850 m/s) and you have 10 bullets to shoot nonstop. The reload is terrible slow, but at least you usually can do it safe.
Really like the talking intro but wasn't too into you asking for subscribers because you're "trying to grow your channel." Felt sympathetic and kind of creates an odd vibe going into a round of Hunt. I subscribed because I enjoy you and your content. Continue being a cool chill human, and people will continue to press the subscribe button.🤠
Sadly not how it works, only once I started doing that people started subscribing. Easily doubled the subs per video. Is it weird, yes but people don't do it unless u remibd them to do so sadly
One thing i hate about this game is the hopping, its so "immersion breaking" (i say that with the biggest quotation makes). It's just odd and seems so out of place in this game. All the characters look so cool then I'm just aiming at bunny rabbits.
I feel you, sadly the only was to avoid getting shot out of a bush. it's movement mechanic, if we'd remove then then we would simply all play much much slower because playing aggresive would even be more punishing than it is already
@@Whityyy Oh i get it i just hate it haha. Its not as "much" of an issue on console but its still there. I'm just disappointed when i see a "hunter of the bayou who was brought back from the dead to exact vengeance" actually just hop skip and jumping around as if hes found the chocolate eggs during easter hahah.
Played it yesterday, it sucks, you are better off with any other marksman rifle even a single shot martini xĐ I only play it for the memes, it is short so it is easier to peek without people seeing your rifle stick out, that is it's only advantage tbf...

Super great video as usuals - also like the talking video and loved the guides (but makes sense why you would cut back on them). Keep them coming!!!
videos will keep coming! Just currently gathering info what people prefer. Guides won't stop just gonna be less often

glad you were entertained!

not sure what I prefer yet, just gathering feedback since I had multiple comments asking for shorter intros

I personally was thinking 1 game then intro, but a small teaser wouldnt be the worst idea either. Appreciate the feedback m1tch!
Underrated sniper imo. I love the Berthier, especially Spitzer. The day Hunt adds the 5 round variant would be insane.
A 5 bullet variant would be insane
nice that you try something new. I would prefer the old intro though to hear your thoughts xD
thank you for the honest feedback! seems like most people liked the old intro, might try to move the weapon thoughts later into the video
The old intro was great in my opinion...it makes it better to understand the advantages of the loadout
🙏🙏🙏 seems to be a general opinion, really appreciate feedback like this I will most likely just go back to the old intro
These full gameplays with minimal cuts are great. Let's us see the whole battle and all that.
appreciate the feedback! I try to cut them when there is "too much" traveling across the map but give as much of the fights as possible
I prefer having you talk and explain the weapon during the intro. Might just be that i like your voice but it was a part of the videos i enjoyed alot.
I appreciate the feedback!
WOW! Spitzer ammo looks insane! Will have to give it a go some time soon.
dont get caught at world border tho hehehehehe
