Jen, thank you. Thank you. I’ve been trying to figure out my specific colors. I’m very high contrast, cool, with deep hair and light skin. However, when I was color draped, I was called a Summer. The reason was the optic white and true black was too harsh. But when I’ve tried to do muted Summer colors, they wash me out. You have clarified this perfectly. You explain that bright colors can be softened with white or black, while muted colors are softened with gray. I realize now what the problem is. I don’t need super bright, but I do need clarity. So the colors just off the center pure chroma colors are just right. This is a better system than the seasons. Just great.
I’m literally exactly the same.. except I do look good in white, just not black. I don’t know whether to actually call myself soft or bright but at least I know what colours I should be wearing! 😊
I've been draped as bright, cool and light. Actually I look rather medium, but the consultant works only with 2 categories: light and dark. It was such a gamechanger! I always knew I'm cool, but I was sure I'm muted, not least as I wore muted colors they made me look even more muted. The draping was so magical, I saw how this bright colors I've always loved but thougt and have been told before (from not professionals) I should stay away from make me shine. Is it not so obvious that you are bright, if you have a medium value?
Are you talking about natural hair color or dyed? My hair is/was medium brown with a touch of auburn but is greying so I had it colored very light to help blend the grey as I let the silver grow in. I think I am warm bright medium (I also tan easily and my eyes are medium blue/green with gold) but with my colored hair would I be light? I couldn’t figure it out in the quiz either. Thanks!
Great question! If you are naturally greying and you colored it light, then I would choose light. If you had brown hair and bleached it light, then I would likely try medium first. However, the quiz is just a guideline. You may need more color than BWL. BWM might be perfect for you

Do you offer analysis by itself or just with VIP membership? I bought the DIY course but can’t figure out how to do it I don’t have a laptop.

A person with black eyes can definitely be bright. They can also be soft. It depends on their other features.
