Great scores on the songs! For ME I would give "Eyes Wide Open" a 9.5 with "Vultures" and "We Are Shadows" :) Great overall album score! I LOVE this album!!! Since I like many different genres of metal and rock in general, the song "One Foot In The Grave" I enjoy! I like the Halestorm'ish rock radio friendly vibe and anthemic chorus which I find I can't get out of my head hahaha.
Awesome review! I love how you show yourself listening to it and do a track by track review. Sometimes I swear people don’t actually listen to the cd so this really helped. While I agree with most of what you said and had the same reaction to it, the chorus in “One Foot in the Grave” gets stuck in your head and is addicting as crack haha. Wasn’t a fan at first of the pop rock sound, but it grows on you. Also Mercedes does most of the low growls that you hear, such as in “Grime” and “Eyes Wide Open”.
i think its Kitties masterpiece.been a fan since Spit too and the evolution these ladies had is amazing. theres no band like kittie. they are and were always underrated. anyway, for me its a 10/10.i mean have you ever had several earworms of metal songs???
