Introduction to the Ammonite Graveyard

The Jurassic Coast Trust's Conservation Officer (Palaeontology) Chris Reedman introduces the Ammonite Graveyard in Lyme Regis. Also known as the Ammonite Pavement, it is a fairly short walk at low tide along Monmouth Beach.
It is well worth a visit if you can manage the rocky terrain. As it is being constantly smashed by storm waves it won't be with us forever....
