To me had the final battle in season 1 been like infinity train season 3 with peter saying eddie i made a lot of mistakes but getting rid of that suit was not one of theme as well as saying I am not responsible for your problems as well as saying I know you're in a lot of pain this would have shown peter finally mature and realizing his mistakes the same way Grace did with Simon
