Sugeng Rawuh.. Welcome to Yogyakarta.. my hometown.. I know you are not in Jogja anymore, hopefully the beautiful experiences you get will bring you back to visit Jogja again soon to explore more of Jogja.. 🖐❤️🇮🇩
When you visit Bandung, you can explore north (Lembang, Dago) or south Bandung (Pangalengan, Ciwidey) for tea/strawberry plantations, craters, hot springs, or explore central Bandung for foods, cafes, and historical attractions... Avoid going out at the weekend bcuz people from Jakarta usually spend a weekend in Bandung, so there will be traffic everywhere...
Just to tell you that guy at the end of the palace lied to you...the puppet workshop isnt in any way included in your palace ticket and not run by the palace. He is just in cohort with the puppet makers to make you visit their workshop and buy stuffs from them...i know they didnt force you to buy it but the way he lied to you is unethical...
I'm from Solo but lived in Jogja for a long time. It's very sad that there are people like that who bring up the excuse that Muslims should worship too. Ish is upset
If you wanted to see orangutan, please go to tanjung puting national park. Well you already visited the Malaysian side of borneo, but you have to visit the Indonesian side for sure
FYI "Y" is pronounce "J" because of Dutch pronunciation, supposedly they change from Y to J for all Indonesian word. But they keep the name to respect and preserve the monarch name and tradition. Although some people write it as "Jogja" and yeah it is confusing for foreigners 😂 😂
the correct one is J because of Dutch influence where Y pronounce as J, the writing is still Y though to respect and preserve the monarch name and tradition. the driver is correct.

yogyakarta - ejaan baru ... klo djogdjakarta ( jogjakarta ) - ejaan lama
The name of many curveballs haha
you pronounce Yogyakarta correctly but instead the nice driver named eddie give you a wrong pronunciation 😅
No the correct is JOGJAKARTA OR JOGJA
The saga continues... Everyone seems to pronounce it differently haha
the correct one is J because of Dutch influence where Y pronounce as J, the writing is still Y though to respect and preserve the monarch name and tradition. the driver is correct.
