So glad to finally have this video up. Editing these video clips brought back the feels! The anticipation for this day definitely built up so much that caused a lot of shakiness in the video. I was soooooo excited to finally get a glance of my Marine and to spend some time with him. I sped up some parts and cut out a lot so that way you'll be able to have the full experience once you are there. (: I'm aware the beginning is terrible on my part since I'm so good at recording. lol (totally kidding) I'm also aware that there are a lot of heads in the way but I can't help it that I'm short. lol

This video is very insightful. My boyfriend left to the same boot camp and he has 12 more weeks left and I honestly can't wait to see him! My only concern is not being able to find him that day since there's a bunch of people 😅

Yes, there are certain rules and I believe no kissing but hugging is allowed. No holding hands but you can do the link arms thing (not sure what it's called lol) Unfortunately I missed the briefing (information session) about those rules but my boyfriend told me the rules once we saw each other (:
even though kissing wasn't allowed, obviously my boyfriend sneaked one in before I had to leave when his libo was up on family day. 😊
I know the rules, pretty much, but there's a lot of junk going on about who my Marine hugs first... Did you ever get on a group on Facebook for your Marine? & do you know what Marine parents.com is ??
My mother-in-law is sooo annoying , & telling me that he has to hug the oldest lady in order, then me. I asked a recruiter, & he told me it's not true, but they're still making me upset.. I don't know of you've had to deal w/ mother-in-law competition..but it's the worst.
This is late but I can't find any videos recent but my boyfriend just left for boot camp October 23rd 2017 I was just wondering when do they send the first letter ?
Hey (: From what I remembered I received my first letter on the third week so you'll most likely receive your first letter around the week of November 6th hopefully earlier. It really depends. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have anymore questions! 💕
My boyfriend left the same day and I got my first letter around the end of November because he lost my address lol! It really all depends, but we’re almost there :)
These girls are living in a hotel. We were in freezing Quonset Huts back in ‘66.

A week in MCRD felt like a month. Literally live chow to chow. Those go fasters looks better than the ones I had.
Aweeee love this! ❤️ my husband went to San Diego, too! The wait between the run and actually seeing them was soooo long!!! Like two hours in between!! I also remember the "ZEEEEROOO FREEZE" 😂

@@SoCutez09i went to san diego bootcamp and the reason it takes soo long is we have to finish the run, shower, put on our uniforms and march back there to do the free day with family or friends. no one came to see me so i hung out with other people in my platoon. i was already 25 when i joined
