Seriously, most of you are just focusing on the genre of the song not the actual content or power this song has. Open your ears and hear the emotion in both the lyrics and the music. Try and seek out the pain, the anger and the love this song has.
The three of them were friends for a long time, what's happening in their lives is their business. As fans we should support either side, not take sides, and we should be happy with what decisions they come to, even if it is a sad one. I will support both the Yousaf sisters and Rain Man wherever they choose to go in their music careers.

Rainman has left? When? I've been a really big fan of their music for many years but I haven't been an "active" fan that knows things about the band etc.
So this happened about a couple of months ago, if you want to know the two sides of the stories you can search for their lawsuits on google
I think about a week ago (week ago), he got kicked out by the sisters, and now he started a lawsuit against them. Not sure about everything either, haven't been able to find a good article. It had something to do with rainman having a drinking problem, and being depressed because of his recovery or something like that.

I don't know, I think they are coming back again but now they are very busy with the lawsuit and their new album :)
Awesome Krewella
Totally different without Rain Man, but I still love it. It isn't EDM, but that doesn't mean that it isn't EDM forever. I hope to see them make more EDM, but I will still listen to this as long as they can keep up the songs and not get into serious doo-doo again like this past case with Rain Man. Great song, expecting more and better to come out!
P.S. If you guys really do switch to this instead of EDM, change your name since this will just bring down your name to most of your past fans and you will get less future fans. To keep up the name Krewella, you guys should really make EDM and if you do, please go back to Monstercat.

bobthefrog One This isn't exactly DnB. It is more of just Rock and maybe a little Alternative. It has a lot of DnB influence, but these two are still very different.
That one guy... No this is drum & bass, just because heavy guitars have been added doesn't mean it's a new genre. I suggest you check out Varien's Valkyrie, it's still classed as drum & bass even though it's mostly comprised of real life instruments.
Drum & bass is a subgenre of the genre EDM (electronic dance music), it's only when multiple subgenres have been used to compose a song does it become solely known as EDM. For instance, Coffins by Pegboard Nerds is EDM as when listening to it you can hear elements of trap, dubstep and electro.

Someone just did the exact same thing as I do to other people who have no clue what actual EDM is.I literally used the exact same example with Coffins except the fact that it is more Chill Trap with Complextro. But yes, I know additions of instruments never change the genre, and I personally think Varien is the #1 artist out there. Moonlight, The Alchemist's Nightmare, The Force (under the alias Halo Nova), Valkyrie II: Lacuna, etc. I just can't classify this as DnB , or rather Jungle since that is just another name for DnB. DnB has heavy bass and sub bass lines, this song has more of a light bass line with the only real heaviness coming from the kick and when the synths kick in, which is after the main drop. I will conceive to this as influenced from DnB, but it has a much more Rock and even a little Alternative in it, but this would not be straight up labeled as DnB by most labels. The tempo being within 160-180 BPM like DnB is (this song is at 180 BPM) can and does confuse people with the genre, and sure, Rock is usually around 120 BPM, but I think this is more likely to be cut time Rock than DnB since it has very little in bass lines and sounds like most of it was made with a drum set, a little work on the computer, and some nice vocals.

Coming from a Chicago native . I'm sure the Sisters and rain man will do fine with whatever paths the choose when it comes to music. Things happen we are all human . We gain friends . We lose friends . We make new friends . It's all a part of life. As long as Krewella goes on i'll be happy.

I really don't care about who has left and who has not..but Krewella was an EDM legend and will remain one wid or without any of its members.. They r my inspiration and all of them r unique..this song has emotions and when u analyse that, the genre doesn't really matter.. An EDM can speak about a sad situation and also other genres.. Krewella experiments on all genres and honestly, both the sisters have awesome voice which suit every genre.. So the viewers who have no other business but to comment on their new song, peace out!

I like the song, like the edginess it has. For those who hate it just because of a genre change, just means they're not true fans. Musicians grow and they get influenced by many genres. They haven't strained to far from their previous music.
If anyone is familiar with evanescence it has a very similar tone to it i was unaware of there loss of a member though but as long Krewella does not get disheartened there music will always be one of my top favorites

2 sides of the story? It's not about hating or not, it's being objective.. this does NOT sound like the Krewella i'm used to, and i liked Krewella for their songs, not for who they are (that'd be stupid) so... this is not "blind hate", it's Krewella not being what Krewella used to be.

I definitely miss Rainman's touch to Krewella's music. This isn't bad, not any means. Say Goodbye isn't Krewella though...this is more like metal than ever. I'm not hating, I've just always been a bigger fan of their electronic dubstep/progressive house/dance pop than this. It sounds like a mix of trap and metal. Other influences too.
But just like how Taylor Swift changed her music genre to pop, Krewella must evolve and grow in the same way. I'm going to miss their old music so much!

Everyone's commenting about how it sounds different because Rainman left and how he should come back.
How about we respect that Rainman isn't in the group anymore and realize that no artist sounds the same forever. People come and go in the music world and their sounds change as they do. I honestly really like the song. Yes, its different than their other songs, but we can't stop the girls from creating music just because Rainman is gone. I'm excited for their new music. This song sounds great in my opinion!
