    I always wanted to have an option of a CW Keyer for the very simple CW transmitters or transceivers I am building. This one transistor CW Keyer is not perfect, but it looks promising.

    What a good idea for a weekend project See me on 80m tomorrow doing CW with this funny keyer! Though, I will be using my Begali paddle with it.

      @dxexplorer  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yep... a nice looking paddle is recommended... not the one I made hahaha. The circuit is nice... but it needs a little more improvement... and I would like to try extend the time between the dots or dashes... especially the space between dashes is a bit too tight now. 73, YO6DXE and I hope you have a fun weekend.

    Wow! This is a nice little project. Small & simple enough to put in a micro transceiver! Thanks for this great idea! 73 de W8IJN

      I also love the simplicity and for sure it can be made really small. I still have to make a few more tests on this, but I will come back with the updated version later on. 73, YO6DXE. P.S. I already imagine the Pititico II TRX with this little keyer ))).

    you must have putted lot of time to redesign schematic. i know sometimes it's hard to remake even simple things. anyway it's nice that it works now good luck and 73!

      So true... especially the older ones that were designed around germanium transistors that are hard to find these days. But with a little effort... and sometime a lot of time hahaha... is possible. I love these old simple projects. 73, YO6DXE.

      Thank you my friend. Not so much until mid March... too much work to do until then. After that things get back to normal. For now... I struggle a little to have a little free time to film more stuff. Actually filming is not so bad and time consuming... but building and testing whatever I want to make the videos about )). 73, YO6DXE.

    Too fast for me Chip, i am still learning straight key speeds 😊
    Nice video mate.

      Is too fast for me too ))). But is good it works... as I can modify it to accommodate more speeds. I want to slow it down a little. One thing I do not like and I want to try change... is the pause between the dots or dashes... seems a bit too tight. If I can also adjust that... then it would be amazing. Working on that these coming days so I can design a PCB board for it. We will see how it turns out ))). 73, YO6DXE.

    I love the improvised paddle!! Great simple project to use with your homemade CW transceivers. I am trying to build a paddle from copper plates and it actually turns out to be really beautiful. 73 DE SV2TCB
