Love the silly wabbits! Also, Hope is so pretty. Love the color of her. I pray the storm coming through doesn't give you all any trouble or extra work. Let's say uneventful. God Bless
I just love how your family loves your animals. So many only consider them food or money and don't really care for them as you do. It really warms my ❤
Its so great to see you dont starve Hope to up her milk production. She's pregnant, in milk and she looks fabulous and not emaciated! With heaps of other channels insisting you cant cover a milk cows ribs I didnt want to get one. But seeing Hope has reignited my desire for a dairy animal!
Sarah brushing and spraying Hope was just so funny to watch. You sure have gotten beyond your fear, Sarah. Yup, Hope is a funny, charming and BIG (with) baby cow.
Growing up my mom taught me to use old socks on the horses. You can spray the socks with fly spray then massage it into their ears and wherever else :)
Hope is so sweet. Our long-haired Maine Coon cat loves to be brushed. When I walk to the laundry room and reach in the bag and show her the brush and comb she meows until I start. 😻
I hope you both know how blessed you are. God has surely smiled on you. The homestead life is a good life and keeping God first is so important. I never had the acers you now have, but I raised 3 fine young men on a small homestead. I was raised the same and it instills a sense of responsibility to and for everything God has placed in your life. God bless.
I love your program. I am not a farmer, though I was raised on a farm. But you are so kind and thoughtful with your animals. I love animals. thank you for taking such good care of everythings the Lord provides. God Bless you both.
Hello Kevin & Sarah! Thank you for the wonderful video. I know you all are in love with Hope, but you are making all of us fall in love with Hope. She is such a sweet cow. It makes me smile every time I see her. Have a great week!
I really appreciate the way you treat your livestock. As a fellow meat-eater, I believe we owe it to animals to give them the best life possible and to harvest them in a quick, humane manner. When I lived on a large farm, we had dogs, cats, beef cattle, a milk cow, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, and horses. We live in town now, and I sure do miss having all those critters!
Poor Hope. I'm glad that spray gives her some relief. I bet those baby bunnies love all that lush grass. I love how green it is. I live in the desert so don't see that bright of a green color. It's so beautiful.
I have fallen in love with your channel!. Watching before work puts me behind but I do it anyway ☺ We are looking forward to when we'll have our own little piece of heaven(land). When we do, well use all the things we learned here. So thank you
Sara, I am still praying for you. Fear not, but trust that God has this right in line with His plans to bless you. I hope you gain greater energy (as I did) after your surgery. You young folks are an inspiration to us older ones. Yes, we still garden, but cannot do as much as before, and really feel more alive watching you daily. Yes, I have LEARNED a lot from you, too. I am canning, and my grain mill is in the mail! May the Lord give you peace and healing.
The Lord they never mention nor obey in this huge venue of followers .Imagine if they spread the gospel at the end of every video? You who preen over them kinda make me ill. Ive tried to spur them unto good works; it has fallen on DEAF EARS. . I shake the dust off. They will give an account for remaining quiet about the salvation to be found in Christ.
Oh my, HOPE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!! She looks more healthy when she is expecting. Her coloring is more deepened. And boy does she loved to be brushed. And it so much better with a natural fly spray. You don't want to harm her in anyway. Especially since she is with baby. Have you thought of a name for baby yet???? I think 2 names is the best since we don't know whether it's gonna be a boy (my vote) or a precious little girl. I am partial to boys because I had 2 boys. But either, it doesn't matter, I hope. Good luck. And happiness is the farm. God bless. 🐄💗💟, 🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇💗💗I sure miss seeing all the other frames children 🐖🐖💗🐖💙, 🐷🐷🐷,🐔🐔🐥🐥🐥,🦆🦆🦆,🐓,🦃🦃, and the garden 🍉🍅🌽🥔🥬🥦🥕, Your homestead & farm are so exciting wonderful. Thank you for sharing your life and videos with us. I know it's hard especially with all the crazies out there.
Thanks so much Kevin and Sarah. We learn so much from you guys. Making these videos while doing all your chores must be so time consuming! But we sure do appreciate you taking the time to teach us all so much!
Your bunnies are just adorable. I love the natural fly spray you make. It is very similar to one I make for my garden plants. Keep those videos coming! Love you all and God Bless.
The rabbits are beautiful. I think I remember that you raise them for meat rabbits but do they make for nice pets? "Hope look away, do pay attention to the lady with the spray bottle". I have not been having a good day watched your vlog today and laughed with that statement. Thank you. It is wonderful to see the animals very calming and you show them love.
I dont live on a farm, never lived on a farm. But when we visited our cousins who DID live on a farm we had huge round eyes for the excitement of it lol. I know its an extreme amount of work but its so obvious that you both love it and I love seeing you love it. As always, thanks for sharing. --Shirley
Rain was a nice rain here in SE Missouri, good amount of wind though. Tree swallow houses for your fly population. Easy house to build, 10 minutes cutting and assembling at most. The pair can eat on average about 8,000 flies per day. They parent 2 sets of offspring per year and migrate to south America for winter. Houses no closer than 100ft, you can canvas your property pretty quickly with the easy house design. I suspect they will help your garden pests aswell similar to a P Martin.
I love your new farm! Picture post card Beautiful! If you add a small strip of heavy gauge hardware cloth over the wire in place along the end wall of your rabbit tractor, you will still have air flow, but no critters can reach through to grab your bunnies... then you can still add a strip of roofing tin later for weather protection..
You may have recieved many compliments regarding your farm (rightly deserved); but i would like to appreciate the love n affection u share with each other as a family and with Allah's creations. You have been equally successful in spreading the message of humanity across all countries and faiths. BRAVO. from an avid fan from pakistan . (SOHAIL)
This was another great video........you guys are such great teachers and informers. Love Hope, she is so sweet and acts so much like a forever friend. I can't wait til she has her baby. Looks like the rabbits are coming along great and I love the colors of them. Those colors are amazing! I am so excited for the new farm as well and all it can provide you with. That is a lot of acerage but also it gives you what you need to feed your animals and add to the animal groups as you can. All just amazing and wonderful for you and your family. You are building such a heritidge as well for the girls. Perhaps they will take to it all and be part of it all as they go to school and take studies in that direction as well. It will be interesting to watch you grow. Wishing you all the blessings and happiness with this new undertaking you have worked so hard to grow and enhance your farm/farms. I think it is absolutely wonderful!
Being a horse person you can always spray the brush to get the fly spray on specially for her face. But make sure you do NOT put any ontop of her head where if theres a light rain or she sweats it can run down into her eyes! I was so happy to hear your surgery went well. Love your show. You have inspired me ;) I will pray for a quick recovery.
The storm just brushed by us (we're just east of Memphis) and we got 2.5" of rain dumped on us. Praying for no damage for you all and Sarah, you're in my thoughts and prayers for your upcoming surgery.
You can also make fly traps with 3 to 4 in of Apple cider vinegar 1/2 c water Few drops dish soap Stir Put plastic wrap on jar top with rubber bands Hang jar where she likes to stand. We always had a run in shelter to let the cows or horses get out of the sun, hard rain and flies. I put a little hamburger in the bottom of the jar and it’s a fly feast....
Just one of the reasons to love your channel: How kind and protective you are of your animals. (I have stopped watching some RUclips channels because of how they or the children treated critters.) Thank you for sharing the fly spray -- I will have to check what animals it is safe to use on. Some animals are sensitive to Tea Tree oil. Hope sure has personality, such a blessing! God Bless.
Prayers for Sarah as she has surgery today. I went through a complete one in 1979 when I was 23 years old. They didn’t know then what they know now. I had to learn about everything on my own about what comes after the surgery. If you have any questions, please reach out to me. God bless you both.
You are a remarkable couple. Terrific videos. Wonderful personalities. I'm pleased being a long time subscriber who is never disappointed seeing you both. Thank you for making the effort to record, edit and share your adventures. Blessings to you both.
You can also wear gloves and soak a towel and rub her down with the fly mixture. This works great on legs, face and tail where the spray would mostly go in the air or in her eyes. God bless.
Hope is so pretty. She wanted so bad to see what you were doing. I liked how you tricked her. Maybe one day I can have enough land to get a milk cow but in the meantime I can get some from some Amish friends.
Love seeing the rabbit. I am going to talk to my son about your channel he knows a lots of people. Your new farm is great. I will keep you in my prayers Sarah.
New Farm is looking great & the rabbits are just beautiful ( wish we could have some but not in Queensland Australia)- Sarah you have become so confident with Hope & that is so good to see. Cheers Denise- Australia
I notice you using a DeWalt impact driver. If there was a prize for the most useful power hand tool, this is the winner. I got mine 15 years ago and it's still my goto driver.
You can also use a blender to emulsify your oils and it stays mixed up. We use a blender that has a glass container on it when we mix our mixture up for the honeybees. We will have to try this recipe on our cattle. Thanks for the recipe!
Big Fly Traps are really helpful. You can find them at your feed store or Tractor Supply. Put them out around areas near where Hope hangs out and will not offend your nose. (Smells like dead fish) It really works and will cut down on the flies in addition to your spray. Our horses do not appreciate fly spray at first until they figure out the flies are not biting them, then they stand still and you can tell they are relieved to not have flies biting them.
Sarah, you are so funny and so darn cute with those beautiful dimples. I love watching all your adventures with your homestead. Thank you so much for sharing and taking the time to teach.
Hi guys 🙋♀️ not been commenting in a while..why? Because i am binge watching you videos on the big tv lol 😃 you have came on such a journey and glad to see its turning out to be the best decision 👏👍 just had our 1st chicks 10 days ago (always had chickens but not a rooster) so its fun at the minute. Big hugs from Dordogne, France 🏴🇫🇷🐝🐝😘🙏🏻
I love how you "trick" Hope into letting you spray her. 😉 My, my she's getting BIG!!! It won't be too long before that baby puts in an appearance. Unfortunately, Hope must endure the hot summer months with all the extra baby-weight. Love the new farm and the opportunities it provides for you. Praise the Lord for bringing just the right place at just the right time. God is so good to us!
Hope looks beautiful! You can tell she's got good pasture! Love your rabbitry set up, I come to you for organized wishes, as we figure out how to convert to a homestead! Also... great tan!😄👍❤
Just saw a great idea on sawyer Ridge Farm. They use wood planks in the cages during winter, but in the summer they use 12” x 12” ceramic tile. It retains the coolness of morning and evening temperatures better than the wood. 👍🏻
Have you thought about installing something under the rabbit cages to catch all the poop instead of having to scrape it off the ground? Maybe something at an angle that the poop can roll directly into a bucket!
Hi I love your set up for your rabbits. It occurred to me that I had seen one like this before and I remembered an old magazine I used to get called mother Earth news. And one of the volumes told about people raising rabbits in wire cages and underneath that they would raise earthworms that would live in shredded paper. The droppings from the rabbits would fall down into the worms and feed them. Then the people that own the setup and yes they were a self-sufficient homestead, they would take the worms and sell them for fishing bait or gardens and then they would process their rabbits at some point.. anyway I saw the space underneath your rabbits and I thought huh...
That is how I raised rabbits when I was a teenager. My mom was an RN and would post an add at work for rabbit meat, Bagged manure and worms. Sold out first day every time.
Maybe keep your fly concoction in say a ice cream bucket with a lid and use the sponging method on Hope since she hates the spray bottle so much. Maybe you could soak her a bit more that way and it would last a bit longer for her.
Watching the storms headed your way. Praying it will pass quickly and spare your beautiful gardens and sweet animals. It's hurricane season here in Florida. Hoping all the bad storms stay out at sea.
I worry for Florida. Your state seems much more vulnerable the way it's positioned. I'm in Houston/Galveston area so we get our fair share. We live about 80 miles from the coast so deal with more flooding than actual wind damage. I will be praying for any state in its path though.
I love the rabbit videos! I have been breeding my colony for 3 years now and I can credit alot of what I know to you guys. Thank you for your informative videos! Y'all are a true blessing!
I just bought from Amazon some Ranch Fly Traps! A home made attractant and it works wonders!! I am supplementing the fly predators with the traps; and you can feed the dead flies to the chickens.
Can you have your local saddlery shop make a "fly jacket" like horses enjoy, for Hope? That would provide body protection and you'd only have to spray her face or exposed parts. Horseflies really take a chunk out of all mammals!
Oh I would also suggest using mineral oil instead of veggie oil, much cheaper. Apple Cider vinegar added to Hope's water trough, also will work as a natural wormer.
I just shared your channel with Jamerrill from Large Family Table who has just recently moved and is gardening and getting lots of animals. I am certain your channel will be a great resource for her and her followers. Stay well! 😘
Love your new property/farm! And, so sweet to watch Hope get brushed and help with those awful flies. Can’t wait to see her baby!! Love you two! ❤️❤️❤️
Love the silly wabbits! Also, Hope is so pretty. Love the color of her. I pray the storm coming through doesn't give you all any trouble or extra work. Let's say uneventful. God Bless
Animals are so funny with so much personality and they bring so much to our lives. ❤️
I just love how your family loves your animals. So many only consider them food or money and don't really care for them as you do. It really warms my ❤

You could see that the spray worked. She was not swishing her tail, or throwing slobber all over. Sweet. Happy happy cow.
Oh my goodness Hope is funny but more funny is how Sarah knows Hope personality it’s so cute I love it!
I hope you both know how blessed you are. God has surely smiled on you. The homestead life is a good life and keeping God first is so important.

Yes the lord was
When will Hope have her calf
Yes and people can experience it in a farm collective.

Thank you for the chuckle this morning, Sarah!!! You guys rock!
Thanks so much Kevin and Sarah. We learn so much from you guys. Making these videos while doing all your chores must be so time consuming! But we sure do appreciate you taking the time to teach us all so much!
Hope in the Emerald City.... " pay no attention to the woman behind the brush ..." lol That gave me a great laugh... TY Sarah.
I totally cracked up at Sarah's brushing & spraying "technique". Too funny 😉
Bunnies look so cute in the green grass 🐰🐰🐰
Your bunnies are just adorable. I love the natural fly spray you make. It is very similar to one I make for my garden plants. Keep those videos coming! Love you all and God Bless.
Hope is like “I’m on to you! ... but don’t stop that brushing!”
Sarah spraying Hope was the best part! Sarah got tricks! 🤣
The rabbits are beautiful. I think I remember that you raise them for meat rabbits but do they make for nice pets? "Hope look away, do pay attention to the lady with the spray bottle". I have not been having a good day watched your vlog today and laughed with that statement. Thank you.

Glad the spray works. My goodness she's getting so big. September is coming soon. Everything looks so nice. 🙏💗🌻🙏💗🌻
Sarah, the difference between when you first got Hope and now is phenomenal!! You look so much more comfortable with her! Great job! Be safe and well!
Rain was a nice rain here in SE Missouri, good amount of wind though.

I agree. Gregg Judy says a pair of tree swallows can eat up to 8000 flies a day.
Bat houses too
Yes...when i lived in NW Ark, people had many of these bird houses...very few mosquitos.
We call them barn swallows. My favorite bird. They follow me around on the mower swooping down grabbing bugs escaping the mower.
Love y’all 🙋♀️❤️❤️ and love your choice of music
I love your new farm! Picture post card Beautiful! Y'all have a wonderful home stead it's. Beautiful.i would be so happy living the way you guys do God Bless you guys.
I can’t wait till Hope have her baby.! You have a beautiful farm.
The storm just brushed by us (we're just east of Memphis) and we got 2.5" of rain dumped on us. Praying for no damage for you all and Sarah, you're in my thoughts and prayers for your upcoming surgery.
Sarah,I hope you are doing well following your surgery,we have missed you! Take care of yourself!
You can also make fly traps with
3 to 4 in of Apple cider vinegar
1/2 c water
Few drops dish soap
Stir
Put plastic wrap on jar top with rubber bands
Hang jar where she likes to stand. We always had a run in shelter to let the cows or horses get out of the sun, hard rain and flies.
I put a little hamburger in the bottom of the jar and it’s a fly feast....

Actually, surgery is next Wednesday, June 17. Keep praying! We appreciate it so much.
God bless.
I enjoyed this one a lot. Hope is looking soooooo much better than when she arrived. Good on you guys!
Hope is so pretty. She wanted so bad to see what you were doing. I liked how you tricked her. Maybe one day I can have enough land to get a milk cow but in the meantime I can get some from some Amish friends.
Awww Hope, you are so pretty🇺🇸🙋♀️🦋💜
Beautiful just beautiful ❤️🙏🏻❤️ from NYC 🕊
Hope is such a sweet girl. I hope her baby is as sweet. Love the bunnies too! God Bless.
Sarah, you are a funny girl too. You look great like you have lost weight!!!
I'm sure someone has suggested... Spray the brush! Also use a cloth on her face and ears. Makes life so simple. All best wishes for the new farm!
We got valuable ideas from your video and we’re going to share your channel with our customers who want to start a farm. Thanks for creating this!
I love Hope! She's so stinkin cute!
Love how you love your critters!! 🥰
Maybe you need to put up a Wizard of Ox curtain! That was a horrible one, I know. We love your videos! Love the testing of old wives' tales.
I notice you using a DeWalt impact driver. If there was a prize for the most useful power hand tool, this is the winner. I got mine 15 years ago and it's still my goto driver.

I remember my dad putting the fly spray in a bucket and applying it with a sponge. Maybe Hope doesn’t like the spray bottle.
Could be.
Sray it on the brush ,JS.

I love hope🐝.

Sarah, you are so funny and so darn cute with those beautiful dimples. I love watching all your adventures with your homestead. Thank you so much for sharing and taking the time to teach.

You guys are the best farm parents!
I just bought from Amazon some Ranch Fly Traps! A home made attractant and it works wonders!! I am supplementing the fly predators with the traps; and you can feed the dead flies to the chickens.
Omgosh😆 tricking Hope, too funny
Love yur vids!!!!!!! U guys are awesome! May u continue to be blessed and continue to inspire
Can you have your local saddlery shop make a "fly jacket" like horses enjoy, for Hope? That would provide body protection and you'd only have to spray her face or exposed parts. Horseflies really take a chunk out of all mammals!
Wow you have big farm I love pet thank you for share have a wonderful time
It is a beautiful farm! So proud for you!
Thank god hope is doing better I started to cry!
You both are so cute. I love your videos. Thank you.
You take excellent care of your animals
Oh I would also suggest using mineral oil instead of veggie oil, much cheaper. Apple Cider vinegar added to Hope's water trough, also will work as a natural wormer.
Thank you for sharin', blessings! :)
I just shared your channel with Jamerrill from Large Family Table who has just recently moved and is gardening and getting lots of animals. I am certain your channel will be a great resource for her and her followers.
Stay well! 😘
Yes, i hope she watches this channel. Have left comments pointing her here. They always have excellent thorough lessons. No fluff.
Love your new property/farm! And, so sweet to watch Hope get brushed and help with those awful flies. Can’t wait to see her baby!! Love you two! ❤️❤️❤️
