    How difficult was installing the seat bolt on driver side rear?

  • @kramdiggity
    @kramdiggity 3 года назад

    So you have to unbolt the seat to access the battery?

    Do your brackets allow the seats to slide farther back than stock? If not, do you plan on offering extended brackets? The krx has plenty of room to go back farther . Us taller guys would love an extra few inches!

      The seat brackets go back about as far as the stock sliders, and as of right now, we do not plan on offering an extended bracket. Keep an eye on our social media accounts as this may change in the future!

    I need these seats. Except I have the click 6 harnesses from Kawasaki. What models work with that setup??

      Best bet for the click 6 is the RS seat. Lower sides that won't get in the way. (Sorry for the delayed reply.)

    Zack: great job on this installation video! (except for the music which was awful and very distracting....please don't pipe in music in future instructional vids). Question for you: for the GT3 and GT SE seats where the stock KRX harness won't work, do you have an instructional video on how to install PRP 5.3x2 harnesses in the KRX? Where do you attach them behind the headrest??

      The lap belts are going to install where the existing lap belts bolts on either side. Unfortunately the KRX doesn't come with Harness tabs or a bar on top for the shoulders. So you will need to purchase a harness bar either from Kawasaki, or an aftermarket dealer.

    Will these seats work with the Kawasaki click 6 harnesses?

    • @Prpseats
      @Prpseats  4 года назад +1

      Yes they still work with the Click 6. If you want the belts to run through the harness slot in the headrest of the seat, you will just need to remove the click 6 retractor box, push it through the headrest slot, and then reattach it to the bar.

      PRP Seats thank you. Does the seat recline more than the stock seat? The reason I ask is that the stock seats when pushed all the way back for max leg room will actually touch the harness bar so if the prp seat is a more reclined design it will inhibit some of the leg room for taller drivers. Thanks in advance for your answer!

      @@Angels1994 I don't have the exact angle measurements, but both seats felt about the same recline (with the PRP being maybe slightly more upright than OEM). We had the big boss Aaron (6'3") sit in it and test it out. While we didn't have the Click 6 Bar in at that point, he still had extra legroom to spare.

    I bet your seats. Won’t lean back... FYI that fkn sucks

      Hey, Ken. Just curious, why would they need to lean back? Most UTVs don't have the room as well as some kind of harness bar so it's no usually possible. The KRX has a little more room behind the seats, we took advantage of that space to create more storage.

      Well I own a 2019 c7 corvette.. the seat royally sucks if your in the car for any length of time because my lower back starts hurting from the forced upright position.. regarding the ability to lean the seat back ... if it would tilt back enough to relieve pain.. not lay down but the ability to tilt the back rest slightly or even lower back support. The inability to adjust the back sucks for folks like me.. my ss cameo mustang got I had were great .. recline slightly for comfort.. when your ready to get it sit up straight. Revert back to Cruze mode back relief.. I hope you will consider that.. I know I would purchase a set if they did.. again maybe tilt back 3-4 inches max.. scoot the seat forward and allow the seat to rest back.. again I have a new c7 corvette not much room in that car.. what I do is move the seat forward slightly adjust the back as far as she will go and then do the tilt feature the entire seat back to attempt to find a position I can live with.. I’ll be completely honest I’m probably going to sell the car at a loss becaue the fkn seats suck for that exact reason.. and yes the know it alls will say.. it’s a track car you need to be in a perfect racing position period.. I completely disagree especially when folks like me will be happy to throw any amount of money at a problem until it’s fixed ... I want to participate in the sport sadly I’m a veteran with damaged L3 and L4 in my lower back.. I’m fine almost always the seating position makes my left leg feel like it’s on fire if i sit up straight too long.. just a thought I’m only one person.. in this day and age the individuals problem is not a concern of the people apeasing the masses.. you say.. maybe sell a frame or bracket to fit seats already in production.. because you asked the krx stock seats as well as other oem sxs have two piece seats.. fab a frame for the stock seat to a.low the upper seat/back to recline slightly for us whiners.. 😛🤓😎

      PRP Seats take a look at sxs blog.com leo is tall they went as far as getting a cage that allows him to clear his head with a helmet on and his regular complaints is most sxs are too cramped for a person like him who is tall.. the ability to tilt back slightly and lowering frame brackets for the seats will address and answer that problem as well.. not to mention some people actually want the seat to sit up even more straight so the can look out the vehicle during rock crawling and tight spaces.. I believe it would be a major win... 99% of oem seats are terrible.. new we can purchase ratcheting 5/6 point harnesses so they will work regardless of the angle of the back of the seat.. I hope I’ve given you a task that you can make a profit and help the customers who regularly purchase aftermarket seats.. I think they will be a hit as soon as the audience sees others with them.. don’t you think..? It might be a product liability issue just ensure the owner follows a written guide and line and assumes responsibility etc.. I know I will want them.. other aftermarket seat companies will follow suit and I would go as far as the OEMs will raise and eyebrow to the comfort issue/. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
