This is the first time that I heard both singing together. Great acting, wonderful couple, and absolutely amazing singing. Not quite Luciano or Maria, but certainly not far behind. BRAVO !!!
Who wouldn't fall in love with her and her beauty grows with age, her voice cannot be compared, she is a one off, oh, and of course Roberto is in his own right very good.

The names of singers was given in the film , but I like to see them written down

Et mes parents sont très fiers de moi, Indila c'est mon seul coup de coeur, tu la critique ca me blesse normal! C'est pas sympa! Blabla Blabla Je n'ai jamais critiqué le fait que tu en sois fan, c'est toi qui m’invective toute seule. Indila est une piètre chanteuse, C'EST UN FAIT, il n'y a rien à ajouter, il suffit de connaitre le monde du chant pour l'entendre immédiatement. Tu es fan d'elle si tu veux, d'ailleurs elle est très populaire chez les (NOMBREUX) profanes au monde du chant tant mieux pour elle mais ça n'en fera pas une meilleure chanteuse. D'ailleurs je ne crois pas qu'une vidéo du talentueux Roberto Alagna soit le lieu pour en parler...
La dernière scène était vraiment très bien interprétée et bien émouvante. La seule chose que je n'ai pas aimé, dans cette production, mais vraiment pas du tout, c'est le décor de la mansarde au 1er et 4ème tableau. Enorme, nu, sans ni table, ni lit, tout se faisait par terre, un peu exagéré, non? Puis, les costumes. Il y avait des choses complètement privées de logique. Mimi dans la neige, à l'aube, avec une petite robe blanche et rien qu'un chale léger: OK la pauveté, mais elle avait quand meme un petit manteau? Et les cheveux denoués, du début à la fin, ça ne se faisait pas à l'époque. Dans la première scène aussi, elle est sans manteau, assise dehors! Et son style était comme une jeune fille de bonne famille. Mais si elle était une fille de bonne famille, elle n'aurait pas formé une relation amoureuse si facilement. Elle ne l'est pas. Elle est romantique et tout, mais pas vraiment difficile. Elle prendra le vicomte comme amant après s'etre séparée de Rodolphe. Musette, par contre, était habillée comme une bourgeoise mariée: il fallait du luxe, pas des gris et de la sobreté, elle est une grisette, elle aurait acheté des rubans, des robes un tout petit peu criardes, non? Si on est costumier de grand opéra, on doit penser à ces choses bien évidentes, je pense. Certes, c'est l'interprétation des artistes qui compte essentiellement, mais pourquoi ne pas les entourer de tous les éléments qui auraient aidé à montrer qui est le personnage, et son époque, correctement?
+irmar Penso che i pochi mobili in uno spazio assai ampio possano sottolineare bene proprio la piccolezza di ogni singolo giovane di questo gruppetto di artisti senza soldi, ma pieni di sogni d’amore e di felicità in un mondo, in un ambiente a loro evidentemente ostile. Lo scenografo e il regista hanno immaginato un’immensa soffitta (a dire il vero, un ampio solaio disadorno, un abbaino che nessuno avesse voluto prendere in affitto, senon proprio i nostri personaggi squattrinati) apposta per suggerire l’estrema indigenza dei personaggi, la mancanza di ogni traccia di comfort. La stessa cosa concerne il grigiore di molti vestiti. In fine, che Mimì sia rimasta ― in pieno inverno ― senza un paltoncino è assai verossimile: le persone povere in canna impegnavano presso il monte di pietà le cose di qualche valore, per procurarsi un poco di cibo. Il fatto di stare coi capelli sciolti non contraviene a niente: in casa una giovane di modesta condizione sociale, che non si permetteva mai il lusso di una parrucchiera, non si fa acconciature complicate, per giunta, essendo molto malata di tisi, la sua quasi trasandatezza diventa proprio spiegabilissima. Nel secondo atto, l’acconciatura romantica non è discordante, data l’età della ragazza e, per giunta, le pettinature con metà dei capelli raccolti col nastro erano del tutto normali in epoca. D’altronde, qualche ragazzina dai capelli sciolti (con o senza cappellino) se ne vedono in giro, nel caffè e nei dintorni. Secondo me, la messa in scena è valida e gl’interpreti sono ottimi, Angela Gheorghiu e Roberto Alagna sono addirittura bravissimi, molto convincenti e belli.
+Viorica Bălteanu Ecco una spettatrice di buona volontà che è contenta di spiegare e scusare tutto, e le piace tutto. Francamente io sono gelosa, perché un tale spettatore si gode di più tutti gli spettacoli, e quindi è più felice. Solo una piccola cosina che non posso non dire, perché ho avuto i capelli lunghi fin da molto giovane: per farsi una crocchia bastano due o tre forcine, non serve la parrucchiera! E il panno di colore grigio non è meno costoso di un beige o un azzurro o rosa. Specie per Musetta, che se li faceva pagare dai protettori ricconi... Ma è inutile, se uno è ben intenzionato a trovare tutto bello e giusto, spreco il fiato, quindi smetto qui, ammetto la mia disfatta davanti alla tua estrema gentilezza verso scenografo e regista.
The image of Gieorgiu in the first act, reminds me of the image of the magnificent Ileana Cotrubaş, very similar in the same Boheme of course. @@julia-pd3prIleana Cotrubas was really great, but definitely not better than Gheorghiu. Gheorghiu embodies the roles like no other, vocally and dramatically. Mimi, Violetta, Tosca and so on… it’s like her whole body sings. Cotrubas herself recognized that many roles she has done too late in her career and then at only 49 she retired from the opera stages. Out of Cotrubas roles, I believe that Elisabetta in Don Carlo is the best
