- Officer Candidate School is one of 3 commissioning sources for US Army Officers. Benning's pride and joy is located in Columbus, Georgia. Throughout my time at OCS as the Public Affairs Officer for Bravo 006-19, I was able to document the life of a candidate. I would like to thank all of my battle's and my cadre for giving me an experience I will never forget.

Jimmy you’ll get there man! You’re going to do great things
Respect from south korea . i also graduated Korea Army OCS school and served for 3 .5 years ( 155mm artillery officer ) and retired my rank was 1st LT. I sincerely wish that candidates successfully pass all courses to be officer.
That’s so awesome!
Love the music in the back ground. Great video, excellent. I hope to class up later this year. I’ll be coming from the US Navy as a 2nd Class PO (SGT). I’m very excited for this journey. Take care.
Jose Palaypayon Thanks for the support! Best of luck to you!
Great video. I commissioned through OCS ten years ago (Class 007-10) and it was one of the hardest but most fun things I have ever done. Funny thing is, it doesn’t look like it’s changed too much.
Wow that’s awesome. Yes it was the most fun I wouldn’t want to have again haha
I will forever question myself if I should have gone back in the service to become an officer after college. :/.

Graduated class number 007-21!
I’m ready to do this and step outside my comfort zone and I wanna be a medic officer . I’ll meet my recruiter Monday !
Drafted enlisted, my father went OCS and found a life of service, retired a four star General.
Name?
Great video
Dylan Drake thanks!!!
Very good video ? How long is OCS ?
12 weeks
Question-how were you able to record and posts these videos? were they posted after completion of OCS or were you able to have access to these accounts during your time there?
Kortney Kling During OCS I served as the PAO (Public Affairs Officer). It’s a student position in which I captured photos/videos throughout the cycle. But everyone will have access to their phones/laptops throughout OCS
Alvin the Director nice! I was actually looking to get on the PAO board initially, but I heard it was suuuuper competitive because it’s usually only a couple slots. Cool to know there are positions to hold while in school. Thanks for the info. I just wanted to be sure I could pay my bills for those three months 😅
Kortney Kling it’s an awesome position! You’d love it
Can anyone who is not a U.S. citizen by birth be a directly commissioned officer in the U.S. Army?
Yes.
@@AlvintheDirector Thanks brather for this information.

Question do candidates start OCS after AIT?
jwiese100 OCS do not go to AIT
Officers go to BOLC (Officer version of AIT) instead.
I can't do this lol, out of shape
You can do it!
Should've went federal
You in the guard?
Bro, do not join, wasting your lives and times. Dealing with 1960 style stupid dramas everyday, racial people, nerd cadres and evil peers.
