Future in my opinion can go head2head against Drake in a verzuz with his solo , collabs & features....his catalogue is underrated cause people throw him in the mumble rapper league but he elevated Trap to become the God of Trap💯

@@PrincipalSkinner3190 future is my fav artist of all time any genre and I think his best tracks are the non bangers that are lesser known (outside of future fans). That says a lot about his music. Also most of the lyrical rappers highly respect future and have worked with him which shows you how great of an artist be really is

I don’t think Future gets enough credit for his deeper cuts and emotional tracks. As a massive future fan I think his best work is the vulnerable songs that kinda get u thru hard times like Sorry, My Collection, Throw Away, Hardly, Accepting my flaws, Hate the real me, Save Me EP, never stop,etc. I love his bangers too but he has soooooooo much more versatility than he gets credit for

It’s cause people who are obsessed with lyrics hate on him blindly jsut cause his style and strengths are different. They don’t listen to music for the feeling you get from it or the mood of the track they jsut hyper obsess over lyrics which is fine but they don’t understand futures music. i like good lyrics but the sound and feeling of a track in infinitely more important to me cause who cares ab lyrics if it sounds horrible. I don’t really like Eminem cause while he does have his hits and lyrics, a lot of his beat selection on his other songs is absolute poop

Tbh even with the older guys their hits are limited I think They can match future to start but as u get closer to that 20 it'll be harder for them to pull a song than it would be for him. Because regardless of age future has songs even the older ppl either recognize or like. And we not even mentioning songs he's written for other artist like Rhianna. If we including songs he's wrote too it'll be hard for alot of ppl

Although future has a deep catalog and for sure is one of THEM, how he sequences his verzuz set and having a DJ that is spot on with the transitions will make or break whatever matchup he would be in. Him VS Travis could go either way but I’d probably take Trav based on his DJ being Chase B and just the performance aspect of the verzuz we know he’d body. BUT again Future def could body a lot of other artist on a verzuz stage like you said.

I think future strength is his consistency. I don’t see future as an elite rapper like cole and Kendrick but he knows how to drop hits.

Yap. I think Future could be top 10 rappers ever if he just had the melody of a Ye or Drake or Travis cause I remember even he said it on one of his songs like "top10" without the melody it's costin" so i think even Future knows if he could just sing he'd be in the goat debate as well

T.I. jeezy, ross, 50 cent, T-pain, luda, jeezy and jay z, would wash and yes i mean wash future in a verzuz battle and I'm 23. Future has tons of hits but many aren't that classic or great imho. He also at least struggles against uzi, savage, quavo, lil baby, swae lee, thug, and travis as well.

I don't think your billboard comparison helps with your point because you used the billboard entries as your main point but the guys you compared him to might not have dropped as many songs as Future has over the years, but still managed to get most of their songs chart in the billboard 100. Plus how can you make a point Future has more hits when you look at the top 10 and see, Kendrick, Cole, Kanye, Nicki, and Trav all have more top 10 hits and some more number ones than Future? It just doesn't make sense but yeah I think a discussion could be had for Future being top 5 in this generation of rap.
