UPGRADE Your Miss Pattern

  • There’s no denying that every golfer has their own unique pattern.
That being said, there is no perfect in this game. So when it comes down to club face management, some of us error to the open side, some of us error on the closed side.
I subscribe to the idea that club face largely controls path. Or think of it as the path lives to offset the face. So the easiest way of swinging inside out is to average a slightly closed face (to the path) at impact.
When you swing from inside-out (of your body line, I’ll explain in another video at some point) the game just gets a tad easier.
So take my word for it. If you’re struggling, find a way to get the face shut, even too shut. And calibrate from there.

Agreed that I don’t trust numbers as much when the unit isn’t aligned correctly. That said I haven’t noticed speeds being specifically slower as a result of that. Very well could be the case though.

@@PaulAdam-f7g yea not surprising. From my understanding Trackman is notably stingy with speeds, I’m always higher on other systems. I think whatever number you get on TM, you can be confident you’re going AT LEAST that fast
